Had them re-build a transmission on my 66 Chevelle. I am VERY careful about who I let work on my vehicle. They not only took care of my project in a timely manner, but it was done correctly. Had some issues come up that they were more than reasonable in taking care of. I will send my friends and family to A&L without hesitation.

I would never go to this place, they had my friends car for 11 weeks, kept lying to her of when the part would be there. She's missed alot of work and couldn't pay her bills. She finally had to have it towed out of there and taken to a different shop. I don't even give them a 1 star. The mechanic that kept lying to her was drunk one time when she called to talk to him. This place should be closed, I will NEVER take my car there.

So I've been without my car for 6 weeks now!! Things are slowly, 1 by 1, getting turned off. I do residential cleaning and I NEED my car to make money so I've been financially suffering! At first I was told my car will be worked on in 2 weeks so I let 3 1/2 weeks go by and called them since they NEVER EVER call me, I always have to call them. Anyway, 3 1/2 weeks at their shop they say they are going to start putting the Shift Solonoid in the next day. I let another 10 days pass and, of course, I called them. I was told I could pick my car up the first part of the following week. I waited until Wednesday and, of course, no word from them so I called. I was told they would start working on it Thursday. I'm practically in tears and ready to pull my hair out! I can't pay any bills and rent is due in a couple days, I'm eating cooked noodles, I have no way of making money to buy food and pay bills 😥😥 So it's going on almost 7 weeks now, I have no idea if I'll ever see my car 😥 How can the do this to people? There was another comment from a man that said they had his car 6 weeks over a 4-5 day job and was very upset. I feel your pain sir.

I called around to a bunch of transmission shops. Have an older suburban that wasn't sure where the service has ever had been done. When servicing a transmission that has lots of Miles there's only limited things you want to do. They were the first transmission shop to answer the questions right. They've done a great job on three of my vehicles. Prices have been reasonable and service has been excellent. Honest shop. Hard to find these days.
