Best mechanic that I have ever worked with. Transparent and honest staff. It was great being able to see a video of all the issues that were wrong with the car. I previously used the dealership mechanic before deciding to give Wes Seattle Mechanics a try. A great first experience and would never go to any other mechanic. They shared what was actually wrong with the car rather than listing out issues that did not actually need to be fixed and up charging. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a reliable and an honest mechanic.

I can’t say enough good things about Jesse! He replaced my entire transmission, my rear brakes, and did an oil change for me. He was extremely transparent and communicative about timelines and pricing, even sharing potential added costs that could come up throughout the process. Not to mention he was very patient about explaining the issues with my car to me in a way that didn’t feel condescending at all and still made sense to me as a person with little knowledge about cars. He even pushed and recommended me to go see about several recall notices on my car, showing an extra level of care. He checked in with me multiple times a week just to share status updates and he helped me get the cost down to a reasonable amount. ($5,000 less than what the other garage quoted me!). I’ve had a lot of bad experiences with mechanics throughout my last few cars. I’ve had mechanics where my car broke down leaving the shop. But I trust Jesse and his team implicitly - I’ll never go to another mechanic again. Jesse is the best in town!

We would give more stars if we could. Jesse saved our vacation as we traveled to Seattle from California in our Jeep Gladiator, only to end up with a cracked coolant reservoir. West Seattle Mechanics was nearby, thankfully, and Jesse helped us right away by ordering the part - only to surprise us later that day with a same day part delivery and repair. Excellent customer service, extremely knowledgeable and reasonable prices. Exactly what we all want in a local, neighborhood business. Thank you!!!!
