Definitely the best mechanic shop you can find in town ! Mr Prado has taken care of our trucks with excellent professionalism, communication and responsibility by getting the job done on time, excellent service and competitive prices. We highly recommend Prado transmission and auto repair for any one looking for honest and professional mechanic. Thank you very much Mr. Prado.
View on GoogleMr. Prado is an excellent mechanic. Honest, fast, and knowledgeable. I always take my truck here because I am self-employed and have to get back on the road quick. He has all the latest technology. Combine that with one of the best minds in the business and you have one of the best in the business.
View on GoogleCarlos at Prado transmission is the best mechanic I have ever had the pleasure to know. As someone who has only been able to afford "beaters", it has been super important to have a mechanic I can trust. His work has always been excellent and affordable. Additionally, as a woman, he has never made me feel "stupid", and is always willing to share knowledge and teach, and clearly loves what he does. Knowing that I have Carlos in my corner, makes me feel safe and secure if anything ever was to go wrong with my vehicle, which I use for my livelihood. Really can't recommend Prado enough..Thank you Carlos!
View on GoogleTo save money I have worked on my own cars for years. i "discovered" Prado's solid service over 10 years ago when a front axle fell off my Honda Accord two blocks from his towing service. I wallked in, and Prado did such quick and responsive work, both methodically and reasonably priced, that I have gone back to him ever since. Front end work, transmission work, shocks, engine tune up, tires, it just pays me to have him do it all now. Go see Prado, he treats everyone right.
View on GoogleI took my volvo to a mechanic shop on capitol hill and they told me I needed $3600 worth of work. They said I have oil leak that was getting on my timing belt and was bound to break it. They said if the timing belt goes the engine will be destroyed. Prado took things apart and found the leak but it wasn't getting on the timing belt. He showed me pictures of a clean timing belt! I replaced the transmission fluid and payed him for the check up and it was $282. I payed him $300. I saved 3300 because I have an honest mechanic! I have worked with Prado for years and when he moved to west Seattle I didn't think I was up for the drive out there. Let me tell ya its worth it to have someone you can trust!
