The staff technicians here at Grease Monkey in Ballard are great! They remember you and your vehicle, and provide excellent and responsive service and communication. I (and my car) feel very supported getting service done here!

I went in for an oil change but ended up discussing a few issues I've been having with my car, and they were super nice, researched the error codes, and gave me advice for next steps. My car is a 1996 manual, so not that common, and even though they were not able to help me with the issue directly, they gave me lots of helpful pointers and recommendations for things I should get taken care of. Also, their sign doesn't lie: brought my cat (it was on the way home from a vet visit) and besides many pets, we also got 20$ off.
View on GoogleBrought my car in to have the battery checked as I was getting a low battery indicator and to have the oil replaced. There were four attendants who worked as a team to check the battery with a tester which turned out to show the battery fully charged. In addition the team members went over the car indicators and when and why they might display which was very helpful. The oil change was performed in a timely manner as well and appreciated. I will be a return customer. Great job!

Everyone was extremely friendly, Abey and Austin sat and talked me through everything that needed to be done and the price of everything before changing anything. As a woman it’s common to go to these places and feel small and uneducated and that was not the case here at all. These guys are amazing, extremely charismatic and got the job done quick but very efficiently!!! Will definitely be coming back 10/10 recommend grease monkey in Ballard:)
View on GoogleGosh where to start! I don’t like taking care of my car. It’s always messy, and I have no idea how to maintain it in a cost-effective way. The Ballard Grease Monkey is a MUST-HAVE in my life. The managers, Alan and Abby, and the KINDEST souls to grace this neighborhood. Gavin and Abby worked on my Prius (2010), and they were done with the whole job within 25 minutes. They changed both of my headlights, did an oil change, and completed their routine checks. Abby, is so kind and informative while working on your vehicle, while Gavin is speedy and helpful. Truly and utterly, and HUGE thanks to the Ballard Grease Monkey team, y’all are doing great work!
