Dynamic Transmission

I didn't like the idea of mail ordering a 48re so I contacted Jon and made the drive out to Spokane to drop the truck off at his shop. He did a fantastic job with his stage 2 build. The new trans feels solid. I had my truck back within a week or 2. Top notch customer service and I felt totally comfortable leaving my truck with him. Highly recommend!

My 48RE transmission was in need of replacement. I contacted Jon and discussed my needs, he recommended going with a stage 3 build. I was also wanting it installed, he put me in contact with Diesel Connection in Post Falls Idaho. We confirmed a date for both the new transmission and installation, the job was completed very quickly. Wow what a difference in my trucks performance while towing my 10,000 pound trailer.

This review is for my boss. He called Jon this morning to see what it would cost to have his neighbor’s 16 yr old son’s transmission done in a gas burning ½ ton. He didn’t realize that Jon didn’t do anything but diesel transmissions. But even with that, Jon stayed on the phone, was very cordial and took time to explain the ins and outs of gas burner transmissions & what to expect from a shop that did them. Then Jon talked in depth about the different types of diesel transmissions because my boss runs all 3 of the domestic brands. Jon was very knowledgeable and cordial. Boss had me put his name and number in our mechanic shop directory for future use when needing diesel transmissions repaired - that’s how impressed he was.

I had Jon at Dynamic Transmission build me a Stage 3 Transmission for my 2nd Generation Dodge Ram 2500 diesel. Upon completion he let me know it was ready and coordinated an install for me at Diesel Connection in Post falls ID. I drove over from Western Washington to have it installed and the work was completed on time in a single day. The Truck now drives like completely different truck. The shifts are crisp and lock up is firm. The Triple disk torque converter engages at lower rpms solidly. I now can finish the performance upgrades I've been wanting to do. If you are needing an upgraded transmission for your diesel, this is the place to go!
