Not only a great store, but incredibly kind workers! I went in today to find a tool to help me unscrew my rusted car license plates. Nick spent over 30min finding the tools to help, working outside in the rain on my car, and completed the entire project for me. Not expected in any way, but sincerely appreciated. The definition of above and beyond service. Thank you, Nick!! True Value has my patronage for life!

View on GoogleThe staff is always so helpful. The manager lady is great. There’s a cute dog as well. I feel lucky for such a convenient island hardware store. They stock Benjamin Moore which as a career painter I can say is my preferred option, so lucky there too.
View on GoogleReal nice young employees working there. Good fast customer service. They help alot of the elderly clients who come in there in a very nice caring way. It is like one on one customer service for the elderly. Excellent location to serve the community, and get what is needed, and avoid a long drive to big stores that are far away. Good quality products. Prices are reasonable. Lots of free easy parking.
View on GoogleCustomer service has declined while their prices have increased. Employee was rude during the transaction. Tossed my items and receipt on the counter, then immediately walked away. There was no one else in the store. He also forcefully/unwillingly acknowledged my thank you when I picked up my items and left. There was a total of 3 sentences exchanged during my visit, I doubt I said anything to upset him. If you hate your job why show up to it?
