Bud's Auto Repair & Transmission

I called today just for price quotes as I had been shopping around for best service/pricing based on recommendations. "Mel" was the MOST honest, helpful and clear and open that I have EVER experienced from an Automotive shop. As a female it is very hard to have to call for price quotes or deal with car maintenance and repair because at times, we really do get ripped off or feel like people try to add on unnecessary items. I felt absolutely confident in talking to Mel that I was being treated fairly and I'm not even a customer yet! I have a used car as my daily driver that I just bought a year ago and was going to bring it in for spark plugs and transmission flush and fill. She took time to ask not only if I was doing this because the car was having an issue or if it was just maintenance. I'm just doing these things for maintenance and because my carfax records don't show it was ever completed. She told me that they wouldn't want to charge for something that is not necessary and said, why don't you bring it in here next time you do your oil change, we can do our thorough inspection including those items you've mentioned and then if they need to be done, we can, but that way, you're not out money you don't need to spend and we can help you prioritize what needs to be done and what doesn't in order of priority. I was so floored by her honesty and her 30 years of shop management and personal experience that Buds WILL BE where I bring my car when it's time for my services. THANK YOU Mel! You are truly a gem for this company and are setting customers (and women) up for successful car maintenance and repairs. I appreciate you!!

Took my car to Bud's for a second opinion after being told at Firestone my car likely needed a new engine/headgasket (that they couldn't do) plus another $3000 of work. Bud's got me in within 2 days and helped diagnose the exact issues (definitely not a gasket problem) and worked with me on what was most important to what could wait so I could stay within my budget but still ensure my car was taken care of. They were very clear in their communication, answered all my questions and were straightforward regarding pricing. My car is running fantastic now and I'll be back to do the rest of the work within a couple months. Never taking my car elsewhere again! Thank you Bud's!

We were very happy with the work done and the customer service we received. It was fairly extensive and some unexpected issues occurred. We were called as soon as they discovered them, options were discussed and we moved forward. It was really nice to be kept apprised of the work as it continued. The van is in top notch shape for our summer travels🥰

1st of all, Bud's was recommended by an elderly person who had been going there for years and trusts. I started going there and feel they have been honest with me and trust the are not taking advantage. I would highly recommend them.

I would never take a car anywhere else in the future. Wonderful people, knowageable, checked out everything to make sure my car was going to be fixed & safe to drive. My husband has been in heaven since 2015, he was at Bud's alot with his 66 Nova. That was a great man spending time with Gary helping him figure out what to do nextt to get that Chevy fired up. Everyone working there now are great, helpful , caring & trustworthy people. I'm so blessed to know they are there to help me with car issues. I've been places in the past who thought they could get away with lies to this older unwise women about what had to be done to fix a cars problem. That won't happen at Bud's. Lord please bless them for their honesty, kindness & knowledge.
