Greg's Japanese Auto

Called them up last week asked if they had time to change my S-belt (serpentine/ fan belt) they said it might take half a day but they could work me in. Said OK that's fine i'm getting a burned rubber smell so i'll wait. eight hours as in a full day they told me I need to change my serpentine belt and two of my idle pulleys were wobbling so they would also need to be replaced. They told me that the reason why I went there, to get my S-belt changed, I need to get done and that they would send me an estimate either that night or tomorrow morning. I left took my vehicle home, waited for the estimate to come, it never did. A friend of mine recommended Evergreen Automotive, about six minutes away from Greg's. I took my vehicle there. They said the pulleys were fine changed my belt, and I was in and out in about an hour. The price was about 20% less than what Toyota dealership was going to charge me for an S-belt change. They also get me a detailed estimate with a worse case scenario if I needed the two pulleys changed. So, much better than Greg's auto. Go to Evergreen Automotive just down the road, save your time. I would guess money too but Greg's couldn't even send me a simple estimate after looking at my vehicle for eight hours.

Excellent customer service from the manager, Kylan. He was very friendly and able to help us after we had a bad experience at the Kent location, where I actually had an appointment. Kylan was able to fit us in, get everything taken care of, and make the entire experience much better. I will definitely be bringing the car back here in the future. He truly went above and beyond. I can see why he is a manager — he knows how to take care of people and genuinely cares about providing good customer service.

What an amazing crew! They got my car up and moving straight as an arrow. Finally I can travel with speed. The crew is exhausted by the end of the day, I can see it in their eyes. They get soo many cars in/out on a daily basis. I hope management is genuinely taking care of, and rewarding the crew. I cannot be thankful enough for the astounding work performed. Pricing was very good. Timeline was perfect. Communication was on point. I would highly encourage and recommend Greg's.

Staff is very knowledgeable. They have convenient features like paying online and they arranged for a ride home so I didn't have to wait at the shop. They were the only shop I called who would pay attention to my request and give me the service that I asked for instead of the more expensive one. Highly recommended. I will use them again.

After Purchasing a 2010 Subaru Forester with 164K miles on it in early February, I turned it over to Kylan, Tara and the staff at Greg's Japanese Auto in Federal way. I have been a customer of Greg's at various location for many years. This is probably the best experience I've had. I asked to have the car checked out and to have any problems diagnosed and repaired or replaced. It was running very rough and had some obvious issues but with the number of miles I knew there was significant wear and tear and also fluids that needed to be drained and replaced. We live in Hawaii but will be staying here for a number of months and need reliable transportation while here. Kylan was great! He provided me with a detailed list of areas of concern. They were able to take care of all the issues in a timely fashion and put my car back into excellent condition. I have driven the car for over 500 miles since they did the repairs and servicing, and I have had no issues with the car at all. It's driving and handling like a new car! The experience was excellent! It took a few days the get everything done and I appreciate the level of detail, and the excellent communication Kylan provided during the entire process. The price I paid for the service was very fair and I have complete confidence in the work performed! I will continue to use Greg's in Federal Way as my go to automotive service provider and refer friends and family. Thank you for providing me with piece of mind and a well running car!
