509 Auto Repair

I was in Seattle wa for delivery when I noticed a oil leak on my rear wheel axle,I was looking for an independent mechanic on a road,since Ford dealership commercial service is useless,I found Angel(Eugene)509 auto repair,I went in at 12pm and got out at 5:30pm professionally fixed and ready to back to work for the expedite shipping all over the USA again. A legal independent Spanish repair shop that pays taxes and bills to maintain his family made a big difference then a franchise useless commercial ford service,I hope Trump will realise this difference one day. I guess call ahead if you want to drop off an old battery? We had seen the 3 or 4 signs outside the shop saying they buy old batteries for like $5. So, we finally decided we'd stop by because we have one that's just been sitting in the trunk of the car for a bit. I began walking it over to the main office, and before getting to the door, one of the guys working on a car just shook his head no at me. I asked, "You guys buys these?" And he said "no, not now". I'm sure they were busy working on vehicles, but I would've left the battery there for free for all I cared. I just wanted it gone. So when is the time someone can actually drop one off like your several signs say. Do they need to call ahead for such a grandeur service? I can't speak to the quality of their work, so I'm not gonna throw a one-star rating at them, but cmon with that customer service, dude.

Angel came to the rescue with his tow truck and had me back on the road same day. I take all my cars to him.

Go elsewhere. When I read the reviews I thought that angel was a stand up professional mechanic from what I was reading. My real life experience at this shop was a completely different experience. I called angel and inquired about getting some things fixed in my engine and he told me I could buy the parts and he would do the labor for $90 an hour. I thought that was pretty expensive at the time but he was one of the better reviewed shops in the area and I needed this engine problem fixed asap. So I buy the parts and tow the car to his shop and about 2 hours after I get a call from angel telling me that the car needs a different repair an $80 intake hose, I was skeptical about this at first because my diagnostics were bringing up cylinder misfires which usually are the spark plugs/coils. I told angel he can proceed with that repair but after I started doing some research I realized he overcharged me on the part. Typically an intake hose for my car costs about $40-$50 so he was charging me double which I wasn’t okay with. So when I got to the shop to pick up the car I tried to come to an agreement with him about the intake hose because I told him that part isn’t worth $80 and I already paid him $180 for 2 hours of labor. He then told me he would not make any changes or agreements, so I asked for a receipt for the part just for reassurance that I wasn’t getting ripped off. He denied me seeing the receipt from where he got the part or how much it’s costs which I thought was super unprofessional. So I told him he can take out his intake hose and return it and I’d get my own for the real price but he denied that. At this point I was frustrated and was getting tired of this back and forth so I was ready to just pay him. That’s when I asked him to start the car for me and show me the performance. He said he wouldn’t and that he’s not starting the car or test driving for me until he receives his payment which again was really unprofessional. At this point I got the police involved because he was holding my keys hostage and not showing me the outcome of his repair's. When the police arrived they took both sides of our stories and they got the key so we can see the performance which I was fine with engine light was gone. I then paid him the amount agreed on with the overcharge because I was over it and took my car home. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I love my people here! Very understanding, helpful, and nice. I’m grateful to have their service whenever I can afford them. They are honest mechanics. My significant other and I are their loyal customers. Sometimes I see them as family. Next time I come here, I’ll order them some food. Keep up the good work you men’s do!
