I brought my 2018 F-150 to Quick Lane at Tomball Ford for transmission issues. I want to highlight the exceptional service I received from the manager, Sherry Purswell, and Julie Francis. ​Sherry actually took the time to text me updates on her day off. As a business owner myself, I respect and appreciate that level of dedication to keeping a customer informed. ​When I went in to go over the diagnostic details, I worked with Julie Francis at the front counter. Her professionalism is top-tier. She was assertive, matter-of-fact, and respectful. She took the time to clearly explain the technical reality of the diagnostic process, including exactly why they may require a signed liability waiver before dropping the transmission pan. Once she explained the mechanics, the reasoning made perfect sense. ​I mentioned that this unexpected repair was derailing my plan to trade the truck in with their sales department. Julie immediately went to work. She collaborated with the mechanics and the parts department to get the repair into an appropriate price range where I felt I was getting the most value for my money, complete with a fantastic warranty. ​Julie is the reason I authorized the repair and kept my business at Tomball Ford. Both Sherry and Julie understand the importance of clear communication and accountability, and they know exactly how to solve problems to get a deal done. Beware!!! A neighbor graciously offered to replace his front-end suspension on his 2009 Ford Mustang over a weekend. Afterwards, he recommended we go to the nearest Ford dealership for the alignment, so we took it to Quick Lane Tomball Ford. We were told it would be $200 which I felt was high for an alignment, however agreed since, like my neighbor, felt they’d get the vehicle alignment to proper spec. A few hours later I received a call from Julie indicating the car needed additional work – a camber set and sleeve for an additional $590. She stated they could do the alignment however we would get down the road, and it would be out of be out of spec in no time without the suggested additional work. I expressed that I don’t have much knowledge on this type of work and if she could explain what this camber set and sleeve are and do for the vehicle and she couldn’t explain it to me. She even mentioned the year of the vehicle which sent up a red flag for me. Why would that matter? I decided to reach out to my neighbor, and asked him if this sounded right because I was willing to cover the charge to get my son safely back on the road and he immediately stated that doesn’t make any sense since we didn’t lower the vehicle and all suspension parts we used were a direct replacement for the vehicle. He insisted we called Julie back to help him understand what they were recommending. He reiterated all suspension parts we used were a direct replacement for the vehicle. She insisted it needed it and we can come pick up the car if we want. He then asked her, “where exactly are you planning to install this camber set and sleeve? I would understand if we lowered the car but that’s not the case”. She was clearly flustered and stated the technician is stating it needs it but, that’s fine, you can come pick up the car”. After she stated, “you can come pick up your car” a few times, it solidified it for me that they were absolutely trying to charge us for work the car did not need – scam us. We picked up the car, found a business that specializes in alignments and suspension work, told them the work Ford stated the car needed and they agreed it didn’t make sense, but they’d look. Shortly after, I received a call that his car was ready; alignment completed with no issues, no additional work needed. During pick up, the owner who has been in this business for years jokingly said, “I’m not sure where Ford was planning on installing the camber set and sleeve.” If you’re being honest, it shouldn’t be a problem to provide a clear explanation for the work you’re recommending, and make it make sense.

This quick lanes is one of the best I've ever seen. The accommodations are elite. The restrooms are equipped to handle handicap clients. The building has an elevator for anyone to use.the view windows are a 5 star quality accountable to clients who wish to watch the process. Additionally, there are beverages and snacks available. The service team is professional with a great attitude. Great catch with my windshield repair too. My experience was easy, fast, and satisfying. I recommend this service center to anyone who appreciates value. Tomball Ford and quick lanes knocked this out of the park.

Took my truck in for an oil change back in December. Staff was friendly enough, place is clean, service was fast. That's where the good stops. Five miles down the road I noticed a dragging sound so I pulled over to investigate and saw that my skid plate had dropped from the front two secure points. So I'm under my truck in the rain trying to secure it back up with no screws, thankfully I have zip ties in my truck. I immediately contacted the location and they directed me to my service advisor who was on lunch break. Left a message, never got a call back. Called again, and again, and again. Sent emails, responded to the multiple surveys sent. Always being promised a call back, nothing. It's been months, I've tried contacting every month with no call back or resolution.

An oil pressure warning message appeared on my vehicle’s display, so I brought the car to Quick Lane at Tomball Ford for diagnosis. I was informed that the oil pressure sensor and related circuit would need to be replaced, and I was quoted approximately $680 for the repair. Because the cost seemed high for what I understood to be a sensor-related issue, I chose to decline the repair. I was then charged $180 for the diagnostic service. After returning home, my husband inspected the vehicle and cleaned the electrical connectors using an electronic contact cleaner. The warning message cleared within minutes, and the vehicle has been operating normally since. Based on this experience, I felt the recommended repair may not have been necessary, and I was disappointed with the overall service. For that reason, I do not plan to return in the future.
