⭐ Gave Them a Second Chance — Still Disappointed As a single mom, a local realtor, and someone who believes in supporting small businesses — especially those right here in my own neighborhood — I truly wanted to give Northpointe ExpressCare another chance. I rely on my vehicle to meet clients and run my business, so I take routine maintenance seriously. I stopped using this location back in 2023 because the oil wasn’t reset properly, fluids weren’t topped off, and the service didn’t feel thorough. But recently I received a coupon in the mail offering $10 off a conventional oil change or $15 off synthetic, and I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I checked after leaving today and the fluids weren’t filled so I bought fluids and did it myself. I went early in the day, but Dylan told me they were too busy — even though only one car was there — because his brother had gone to get food. I came back later, handed over my keys, and waited inside, expecting someone to confirm what kind of oil I wanted. No one ever approached me. Before I knew it, my truck was already being serviced. Dylan came in and told me it was done. When I asked why no one asked what kind of oil I preferred, he said he assumed I wanted regular oil since I had “been there before.” I told him I hadn’t been back since 2023, and after checking the system, he agreed. Then when it came time to pay, he said the coupon couldn’t be honored because it was “for new customers only” — even though that language was not on the coupon. He added that his mom doesn’t like using the coupons anyway and their system doesn’t work well with them. I asked to speak with her or someone in charge, but he said wasn’t available. He offered me $9 off instead of the $10 for conventional that was clearly advertised, which felt unfair. I also asked if my tire pressure had been checked, and he said he didn’t remember. I asked again, and he still wasn’t sure if he or his brother had done it. That’s not very reassuring. After I got in my truck and checked they were not checked. I noticed the receipt said my windshield wipers were “OK” — even though I know for a fact they need replacing. At that point, I wasn’t going to argue. It just confirmed the service wasn’t being done thoroughly or with attention to detail. I also had to go back in and have them to reset the oil change on the truck. There was only two other people there when I got there only one person so I know they were not understaffed. This is exactly why I stopped going there two years ago. I gave them a second chance because I wanted to believe things had improved, but unfortunately, they haven’t. I’m not someone who expects free things. I work hard, and I don’t mind paying for service — I just expect professionalism, honesty, and clear communication in return. That’s the same level of service I give to my own clients every day. I definitely decided to test out the car wash and only one of the stalls is working, which is fine because this car wash is abandoned, but I’m very shocked that one of the Bay is working and it has really great water pressure by Remove all the bugs off of the rental car from a long trip. What I did is, I brought my own soap and use the high-pressure hose to wash it and it came out clean.

I had high hopes for this place as the gentleman here seem very nice people. They don’t look like the type of people that would over sell you services that you don’t need. But after coming here for a year, I am just disappointed every time. When you had your car serviced for regular oil change, they literally “only” change oil for you and don’t do any other inspection for your car at all. Every time after I had my car serviced here, something came up, low tire pressure, low battery, low coolant level etc. When I called them and asked why I got these sort of warning lights and not being told when my car was being serviced, they told me that they wouldn’t inspect those unless customer specifically asked. So, this is not a one shop.. The people are cool but unfortunately, the quality of their work is just disappointing. Price is not that competitive either. I’ve since taken my car to other place.

I come here for all my oil changes, registration services, etc. They are so fast and efficient!

I went in to get oil changed in automatic transmission, transfer case, front and rear, differentials, and brake fluid. I decided to wash the pollen off of the car and power wash the floor mats before the service. I put five dollars in the machine and pressed soap. There was no soap, there was no hot water, after going over the whole truck I decided to try wax. Guess what ? That’s right, no wax either. I went in to the office to let them know. The two young men sitting around doing nothing saidThey already knew. One of them said there used to be a sign on it. They offered nothing for my bad experience except a laugh. Since this is in walking distance from my home, I walk by there often and several days later there’s still no sign up. Needless to say, they lost Out on my business.
