First Tire & Automotive

I've been taking our vehicles to First Tire & Automotive for 10+ years. I'm a helicopter parent when it comes to our vehicles and I'm confident they'll do excellent work. They often tell me that items I've requested (air filters for instance) aren't necessary to change yet. That illustrates integrity. I recently had my high mileage infiniti in for a full diagnostic of underbody rubber components to determine what needed replacement. After a thorough analysis, they told me everything was tight and nothing was required. Again, thorough work and integrity at prices well below the dealership. I'll be continuing to get my vehicles serviced here for the foreseeable future. Highly recommended from a person with high expectations.

I went to this place this morning to see if I could get my tire patched. They said yes but it will be a little while. I agreed to wait. Then they came back to tell me that my tire was not repairable bc the nail was too close to the wall and that I would need to purchase a new tire. They almost got me I must admit, but they didn’t have the tire in stock. My tire was not losing air very much yet so I went to work and ended up getting someone else to do it. The pic is my tire with the nail “too close to the wall.” If you can’t fix my tire bc you’re too busy, just say that. Zero stars for that if it would let me

I recently put a lift on my wives 2023 Z71 Tahoe and she took it in for an alignment and they took roughly an hour to complete and in between the phone conversations and texts with them their customer service is top notch. Nothing but politeness and eager to help a customer. I'll be taking my vehicle's here from now on. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place and skip the other shops from now on.

I had a few issues going on with my vehicle. Christian is always a pleasure to work with. He he takes the time to keep me up-to-date on any a little change. He also breaks down pricing. If a service is going to be extremely high, for any reason or out of my budget, he will devise a plan to get things the done. I've never had an issue working with the team at this location. For me the prices are reasonable, the team does quality work and i'm learning more and more about cars with each visit.

I went to First Tire & Automotive mid February of 2026. I was having issues with antifreeze leaking out of my car causing my engine to overheat. I received a quote for around $2100 including a mandatory $200 diagnostic fee. At this time I was told there was no financing options available. I saved the money and completed the necessary repairs that totaled around $1600 at the end of March. When I went to pick up my car on March 26th I was told that they accidentally charged me twice for labor. I was initially ecstatic because it brought my total cost to $1200. I returned one month later with the same issue of my engine overheating due to leaking antifreeze. When I returned I was told that this was occurring because of the “recommended” repairs that I did not complete the first time. At this time I was visibly upset and financing options were offered by First Tire & Automotive (I was told this was not available initially). I then spent another $700 for what appeared to be final repairs. Just two days later my boyfriend took my vehicle to work and the engine overheated again while he was on the freeway. We had my car towed to our house then to first tire automotive the next day for the THIRD time. After additional testing we were told again that the antifreeze was leaking and that it may have been caused by leaks that were missed with the last round of testing. They spent an additional five days with my car believing that a faulty water pump and bad thermostat were used with the initial repair causing the issues. After days of additional diagnostic testing and replacing the original water pump and thermostat I was told there was an issue with my engine and that it needed to be replaced. They quoted me $11,000 to completely replace the engine. At this time I took my car to another shop that my dad recommended for a second opinion. Come to find out my car had a second thermostat that was not detected or replaced by first tire & automotive causing my engine to overheat and spill antifreeze. This was NOT diagnosed and COMPLETELY MISSED by First Tire & Automotive despite the multiple rounds of “diagnostic testing” they performed on my car. I was also told by the new shop that cheap parts were used in my car despite the $2000 I paid them in repairs that led to no solution. One of the parts was also missing a necessary sensor for it to function properly. Their mechanics do not know what they are doing and they have no problem taking your money and providing zero solutions. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE! P.S. $250 later after having the second thermostat replaced by the new shop my car is working properly.
