Brake and Tire Check

I came here after being quoted a high price at another shop that honestly didn’t even address the real issue with my vehicle. From the moment I walked in, Rick and the entire team were absolutely amazing professional, transparent, and genuinely helpful. They took the time to properly inspect my truck, explain everything clearly, and only recommended what was actually needed. No pressure, no upselling just honesty and real solutions. They got the job done efficiently, and I left feeling safe, confident, and taken care of. I was specifically referred to this location, and I’m so glad I came. Rick was truly a blessing, and the whole team made the experience smooth and stress-free. I will definitely be back and would recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, high-quality service.

I came to get my oil change and did not realize they closed at 6:00pm. They opened the garage door and serviced my vehicle. Wow, it’s difficult to find people go out of their way. I’m SO thankful to Rick and George for taking care of me. Their service is OUTSTANDING! 👍🏻

I highly recommend this Break Check location. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable and they do great work. And they have great specials. I plan to keep going to this location for oil changes , alignments and suspension work for years to come. Keep up the good work guys! Thank you

Avoid this place! Last Saturday they did my rear brakes. Monday as I was driving to work (in Waller) I noticed a chirping sort of sound coming from the right rear. The sound is only noticeable at higher speeds. Also sounds like its from the right rear of the truck. I decided to take it back to be checked today. I explained to the guy that greeted me my situation. Have a chirping kind of noise that I hear at higher speeds and that they just did my rear brakes last Saturday. He said he would check it out. So I watch the guy get in my truck and noticed he only drove it around the parking lot and then parked it. He came back in and said he couldn't hear anything and the brakes were working fine. Again I let him know that the noise occurs at higher speeds. He then stated that they can check it but it will be at least an hour before they could get to it. So I was a little miffed because when they checked the truck a week ago with a potential paying customer waiting, they got it in a bay quickly . So we discussed setting up an appointment. He went out the shop and came back and told me the manager said it would cost $60 to pull the truck in and check it. Needless to say I got upset. They just did the brakes a week ago and want to charge me to check a problem? I basically told him I would just call corporate because of the way my issue was being handled. As I walked to my truck I thought I would go ahead and speak to this so called manager who was out in the bay. It took a few minute but the manager came over and handled the situation in a very rude unprofessional way. He had he audacity to ask " if it's making noise why didn't you bring it back sooner". After some unprofessional spew from the so called manager, he agreed to have a tech drive it and if it was making noise at higher speeds he would have it checked. So I told these morons form the beginning the noise occurred at higher speeds. So the tech walks up to test drive but at that point I was past the point of no return and decided I would just continue on and contact their corporate office and left. So avoid this place at all costs. Check out the Reddit reviews that are out there. Terrible.

I drove over to Break Check after I went to Pep Boys for an oil change. Pep Boys was very unprofessional and I was very displeased with their service so I drove next-door to Break Ckeck, and my experience was amazing. The staff was very pleasant and the customer service was 10 out of 10.
