View on GoogleI hate to be the bearer of a bad review, but I feel it’s only fair to let future customers know what to expect with the new management. I brought my car in specifically and only to have my catalytic converter checked under warranty because the car was vibrating and malfunctioning while driving. I was told I’d receive a call Tuesday with an update, but instead got an email Wednesday morning stating a diagnostic had already been performed without my consent beforehand, along with nearly $1,000 in recommended repairs. The diagnostic ended up costing almost $180 with added “environmental fees,” which was much higher than previous visits ($100). When I questioned the pricing and mentioned I had prior paperwork showing different rates, the concern was brushed off. I also requested a printed diagnostic report and was told they no longer provide them, despite receiving printed copies in the past. When Chad was there, the shop used to feel honest, customer focused, and family oriented but since the management change with Troy, the pricing and overall customer care seem drastically different. Communication and transparency go a long way, and unfortunately this experience left me disappointed.

The inspection was thorough and included a break down of what they found, right and wrong. This helped us in our search for a sound vehicle. Thanks to you all at Summit Automotive
