Pro Fix Transmissions

Great service from Jesus! I gave him my car to check it out and fix a few things. Since it’s an older car, I didn’t expect much, but he ended up doing a lot of work on it. I dropped it off on Sunday, and he finished everything by Friday. He did a coolant flush, oil change, changed the filters, and fixed my muffler. I’m very happy with the price and with how everything turned out. Highly recommend!

Francisco, if you’re reading this: you owe every customer who ever walked through your doors an apology, a refund, and probably therapy bills. I handed over my vehicle for what should have been basic transmission work, and walked away with a rolling money pit that now slips, jerks, leaks, and sounds like it’s gargling gravel every time it tries to shift. Whatever “expertise” you claim in transmissions clearly comes from watching YouTube videos on mute while eating Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. The diagnosis was wrong, the “repairs” were cosmetic at best and destructive at worst, and the bill was highway robbery for what amounted to a masterclass in how to make a bad situation catastrophically worse. I’ve had more productive conversations with my toddler than the explanations I got here. I would literally rather sell this car for parts on Craigslist at a massive loss, while barefoot on hot asphalt in the middle of a Texas summer than ever let Francisco or his shop near it again, even if they begged, offered lifetime free service, and threw in a lifetime supply of Whataburger as penance. If your transmission is dying, go anywhere else in San Antonio. Avoid Francisco’s shop like it’s got the plague. Your wallet, your car, and your blood pressure will thank you. Never again. Not even in an apocalypse.

💥WARNING💥DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE. Took my truck in for transmission problem. Francisco said I needed a complete overhaul. I was given a price in writing and told it would take a week. Written agreement was pay half down then pay other half when repairs completed. (CASH ONLY). I got calls that he needed more time and more money to buy parts. I kept calling only to hear my truck would be ready tomorrow and tomorrow then next week, etc. He kept giving me excuses that something else was broken. With no progress being made after 5 weeks I went to get my truck out of there. At this point truck is missing bolts and parts and now it won’t even start. I can’t even tell if any work was done at all. It’s in worse shape than when I took it in. I asked what the problem was and Francisco told me, “I don’t know”. It appears he hires whoever is available to work that day and that will be YOUR mechanic. I had to help push my truck out of his garage so I could have it towed. Francisco then had the nerve to ask me to pay the rest of my balance. I REFUSED and he said I would not get his “warranty”. For what? Warranty on a broken truck? I had already paid him $1000. He refused to give me a refund. He said, “I needed to buy parts and pay these muchachos”. Common greeting I got from other customer I met there was, “how long has your car been here?”. Obviously this is how he does business. Wish I had seen the reviews before I came here. Would give it less than one star rating if I could.

Francisco has had my car well, next month will be 5 years since June 2020. He pulled the transmission and supposidly fixed it and replaced it 2 years ago ( yes he took 3 years to "fix it" after i paid him when I first brought it to him and he said it was repaired after 3 months, which it wasn't) and it was still bad so he pulled it again and it is in peices now still. Try and go by weekly to Make sure it is still there. He promises it'll be ready next week next, Give Him till Monday, He'll work on it tomorrow, etc, etc, etc.Etc. Every time I go by, there's also someone else there Complaining about their vehicle not being ready after months. I tell them my car's been up there Almost five years and their faces just drop ,that's hope for you. I even made him pinky swear that he would have it fixed. And of course, pinky swear doesn't work either, along with his word worthless. He'll talk to you like He's your best friend.He says he's sorry And will tell you all kinds of excuses. he's a good talker.He's got that going for him.Not very much of a good mechanic though. I've heard 2 people say that he fixed their car good.But a lot more than that have had to return their vehicles because of issues. I'm still Holding out hope that he will fix my car one day , the sooner the better Francisco.
