Mobile Master Mechanic

Highly recommend this mobile mechanic! He worked on my 2016 Dodge ProMaster City and replaced the engine mounts and brakes. Very affordable, reliable, and professional throughout the whole process. He showed up on time, explained everything clearly, and got the job done right. The van drives much smoother now and the brakes feel great. It’s hard to find honest mechanics these days, but this is definitely someone you can trust. I’ll definitely be using him again for future repairs!

I had a wonderful time with Mobile Master Mechanic. I highly recommended them to all of my friends and colleagues. Gerardo is very responsive and professional. He is very knowledgeable, and flexible. He is a great person and cares for his customers. I will call them in the near future for any other things I may need from now on.

After having a couple other mobile mechanics turn down replacing the crankshaft position sensor on my vehicle due to the work that it entailed I settled on Master Mobile Mechanic. The price, time it took the technician and most of all the reassurance from the technician, “Gerardo”, that he knew what he was doing and that he was, in fact, a “master mechanic” and I wasn’t, helped me make the decision to have them do it. Gerardo was on time, professional and sounded confident about his abilities and experience. Even giving me his different strategies for going about the repair. I gave him the replacement sensor and left him to his own devices. After the job was done Gerardo gave me the old sensor and let me know that, sadly, my car still wouldn’t start. I took it on the chin and paid him for the work. The next day I noticed a bag of new o-rings that were supposed to have come with the new part apart from the shipping box. I was under the impression that the new o-rings were already inside the box with the new sensor. They weren’t and they were all in the bag accounted for. Letting me know that Gerardo failed to put a new o-ring on the new sensor. The o-ring holds the sensor in place and doesn’t allow oil to leak from the engine when the vehicle is on. When I asked Gerardo if he saw the old one and why he didn’t know to replace it, he started blaming shifting and became unprofessional. He didn’t take any ownership of his mistake nor apologize for it. Didn’t acknowledge even knowing the new part even needed a new o-ring. He basically told me it was my problem now and didn’t offer to rectify the issue nor pay me back some of the money I paid him for the work. Now I can’t start my vehicle until the new ring is installed or risk damaging my engine further. The reason people have services done by a licensed professional is because they don’t have the foreknowledge, experience, expertise and the credentials. He should have taken the time to research and known what he needed from me before taking the job and my money. Now I have to either by all the tools to do it again, myself or pay another $300-$350 to have another mechanic come just to make sure the work was done properly and or fix the problem. To those considering using this business for a service, educate yourself on the service needed and make sure the technician knows more about the service needed so you don’t have to be in my driver seat right now.
