McCreless Automotive has some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced, particularly from an employee named ZON. While explaining the breakdown of my receipt, she insinuated that I was trying to get free labor, which was completely uncalled for. I have always paid for the services I receive, and I found her comment both disrespectful and unprofessional. She spoke to me in a belittling manner throughout the conversation. Effective customer service requires respectful communication, and her approach fell far below that standard. In my experience working in executive-level environments, this type of interaction with customers would not have been tolerated. To make matters worse, after paying for the repair, my SUV still has the same issue. Not only was the customer service disappointing, but the problem I brought my vehicle in for was not resolved. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend McCreless Automotive. I hope management addresses both the quality of their repairs and the professionalism of their customer service staff. Side note: Our child was not “tearing up the office.” The office was already extremely dirty and unsanitary, with clutter throughout and a large poor condition dog tied to a door. We also never yelled at our child—we don’t yell at our children. Must have been hallucinating and major auditory hallucinations. I’m also confused by the claim that we were looking for free labor. That was never mentioned or requested. Delusional. Yes, there is video of us opening the trunk "manually". That’s exactly why we brought the vehicle in—it would no longer open automatically. After the repair, we were told it was “fixed,” yet we still have to open it "manually", which is a major inconvenience for a wagon that cost around $700. We needed the car to open automatically not manually! Double side note: the length and tone of Zon’s response seem focused on justifying the negative review rather than addressing the concerns we raised. Instead of acknowledging our experience, the response appears more concerned with proving us wrong, which only reinforces why we felt the need to leave the review in the first place.

This shop is definitely a 1st class very honest shop to deal with. The owner and top tech gave me great service on my grandson's truck. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone including mine or his family. I don't even live in San Antonio and I absolutely love this shop and would use them if I did live there. Great owner and service.

Traveling through San Antonio with my wife and kids. Had a transmission problem on the highway, pulled off at the nearest spot. Jesse and the McCreless crew got me taken care of. They were fast, professional, and helped us out in a tough spot. They went the extra mile to get us back on the road and I feel so fortunate we stopped here of all places. Excellent service!

This the best most honest automotive shop in all of San Antonio! The entire crew are so professional and the owners have so much integrity and they demand such a high level of excellence! I’ve been taking all my cars there for several years everything from a Benz to a GMC to a Nissan. They do it all and they save you money, the work they do is excellent. They also shop for the best price on the parts you need, anything from an oil change, transmission, brakes, A/C or electrical work these guys got you. Spoil your car by taking it to this automotive shop, you will not regret it!

Great experience from start to finish. Had my dead vehicle towed to them on a Thursday. Looked at on Friday. They weren’t certain it was fixed so decided to keep it and continue looking on the following Monday. Updates and estimates sent quickly to my cell phone throughout the repair process. Fair price, not jerked around, and they won’t charge you for things you don’t need. Highly recommend. Friendly office receptionist and repairmen.
