⚠️⚠️⚠️ WARNING – THINK TWICE BEFORE DOING BUSINESS HERE ⚠️⚠️⚠️ This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a repair shop. After they repaired my truck, another issue developed that should have been covered under warranty. Instead of taking responsibility and fixing the problem, I was repeatedly told that nothing was wrong with the vehicle. Meanwhile, my truck sat at their shop for over four weeks with no real solution. Every time I asked for answers, I got excuses. They would clear the codes, hand the truck back, and claim everything was fine, only for the same problem to return. It felt like they were more interested in avoiding the warranty work than actually fixing the vehicle. What frustrated me the most was the lack of accountability. If a shop stands behind its work, it shouldn’t take a month of excuses and denial to address a problem. A warranty is meaningless if the business refuses to acknowledge the issue in the first place. Don’t be fooled by the stories about being a family-owned or grandfather-founded business. Good customer service and honest repairs matter more than a sales pitch. Honest, hardworking shop of pros. Going from the Toyota service center to J V was a breath of fresh air. They gave me straightforward answers about my car’s transmission issue and had it fixed faster than I expected. I’ll be recommending J V to anyone I know who has transmission problems or just wants their transmission checked for peace of mind.

My brother paid this shop over $7,000 to repair his transmission, and they completely failed to fix the vehicle. Instead of doing the job, they kept his truck sitting in their garage for five months with no results and no accountability. While the truck was in THEIR possession, it was vandalized and a window was broken. The owner personally said he would fix the damage — and then never did. The truck sat for months with a broken window, exposed to rain, leading to water damage that could have been completely prevented. After taking thousands of dollars, they are now refusing to properly fix the transmission or take responsibility for the damage that happened under their watch. This level of negligence and lack of professionalism is beyond frustrating. Now my brother is being forced to take legal action just to try to recover the money and damages caused while the truck was in their care. If you value your vehicle and your money, think twice before bringing it here.

WARNING: DO NOT TAKE YOUR TRUCK HERE I brought my truck to JV Transmission on June 16th due to a serious transmission issue (downshifting from 6th to 1st gear). The owner, Juan Vega, diagnosed it as a valve body and conductor plate failure and recommended a full transmission rebuild to prevent further problems. He quoted a 1-week turnaround and required a $1,925 deposit for parts — which I paid (proof attached), with the remainder due upon completion. By July 7th — three weeks past the promised completion date — the truck was still not ready. Every time I called, I was told it would be done “tomorrow,” or that a part was missing. These were blatant lies. Frustrated, we began recording our conversations to hold Juan accountable. By July 14th — nearly a month later — the truck still wasn't fixed. We told Juan to either finish the job or return the truck so we could take it elsewhere. He promised it would be ready the next day. On July 21st, after Juan again claimed the truck would be ready, my wife and I arrived at the shop to find him absent, the truck on a lift, and blocked in. His employees pretended not to know his whereabouts or have a way to reach him. We had to involve the police to even get access to our vehicle. Only after police arrived did they lower the truck — and we discovered the transmission was in pieces and dumped in the bed. After six weeks and $1,925, I was left with an unusable truck and a disassembled transmission. DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP. Further investigation revealed JV Transmission already has an active small claims case (proof below), and we plan to pursue legal action as well.

I'd give this shop 0 stars if I could. I took my wife's Chevrolet Suburban and after picking it up, it kept jerking, so I took back and after being charged again for labor the transmission is still acting up. Please beware of this shop.
