Great, honest mechanics and shop. My review is long but worth the read. Three awesome experiences so far! You will not find a more fair, reasonable or honest shop! If you want to do business with an upstanding man and truly honest team of mechanics, Sam and HB Auto is the place to go! I've known only a few great mechanics I really trusted, this is one of them. Let me preface with, I'm no mechanic, but have been turning a wrench working on my cars for over 20 years here and there. I'm no sucker, but even still, finding a good mechanic that is seasoned and has integrity isn't an easy task, especially during the "vetting" process. Often, today's mechanics can only quote you book knowledge, lacking a practical understanding of auto repairs. So, finding consistently, professional, trustworthy, auto-tuners can be challenging. 1st Visit: Before my first visit, March 2026, I was given a phone quote for nearly half the price other shops were charging for an engine coolant bypass valve, and tbh I was super nervous, but didn't wanna do the work myself. Sam answered and gave me a direct quote, got me in within a couple days, and while he would have preferred me leave the car if possible, he graciously understood when I told him I just couldn't. Bonus, the quote included OEM Toyota parts which was a shocker at that rate. When I arrived, they didn't upsell me or change rates. In fact he even double checked before starting any work, asking me some questions first to ensure they didnt do any unnecessary work and the mental troubleshooting was the same as the facts. When I arrived, two older dudes in the waiting room (also customers) told me their stories about this shop and the integrity of the owner. Next thing I know, Sam brought out the faulty part showing me exactly where it was busted to confirm (just as I suspected). They installed the new part in half the time I expected and got me out same day. It's been over 15,000 miles since and its goin strong. Visit 2: A few mo's later (late Spring 2026), I brought new pads/rotors to have em installed. He agreed to do the work for a reasonable rate. The price was worth it and beat the competitors. He was forthcoming about product quality vs performance, and what he said was on point. I chose to finance the work, which we thought was a small fee (like that company used to charge me in the past). Two days later I had a problem with the financing company, called Sam, and he walked me through what to do in communicating with them, and gave me the gracious offer of canceling the credit route and paying the shop directly. I was so grateful! By the time I arrived at the shop he already had them on the phone and we confirmed everything together. The credit company sent me an email confirmation of the credit cancelation, I paid while they confirmed the loan was canceled, and he provided me a printed receipt stating paid in full, financing canceled, paid in shop (for added reassurance everything was good, clear, and on the level). There sure aren't many "Sams" in the world these days. When you find one, don't just enjoy the benefits of a great shop, but treat them right too, out of gratitude and so we all can keep a great mechanic in business Visit 3: Today, a month later, multiple engine warnings popped on my dash. (Btw, my car has nearly 150K miles, parts often wear out by then.) He got me in the same day I reached out, gave me an honest answer and a few repair options, let me know I didn't need to worry (that issue was real but not immediately serious), and the next steps, estimated cost, and short term car-care steps to help the catalytic converter till I could get it replaced. I thank God for providing a place I can trust and afford, great mechanics, and a business owner who has so much integrity and kindness!

I called this place yesterday (February 26, 2026) out of desperation because I needed my rotors and brake pads put on. My car had been squealing for three days, but I didn't have enough time to get it fixed. The issue is I have the parts, and most auto shops don't offer labor only. This auto shop is heaven-sent; they charge little, and they provide quality service. If I could give 10 stars, I gladly would. Don't hesitate to bring your vehicles to them; they also work really fast, and that's why they have high reviews on Google. *Quality Service ✅ *Affordable Price ✅ *Fast Service ✅

I dropped off my 2014 Honda civic because it was leaking oil and the A/C stop working. Sam was really nice over the phone and let me know what time I can drop it off and how long it will take to diagnosis it. He later called me and told me how much it would be to fix the leak. He also recharged and tested my a/c for leaks. He was my second quote and he is an honest man! He charged me just what the other shop was quoting me to just fix the oil leak. The other shop said I had an a/c leak and Sam checked it and it did not have a leak. I have already recommended him to my friends. I will definitely continue to come here.

Came in from out of town and my control arms had cracked, they were able to quote me accurate price and get me in and out same day which was amazing! Sam at the front desk was outstanding and helped through every step even letting me know what follow ups were needed that they weren’t able to do! I would recommend them to anyone passing through or local!

I have taken my vehicle to HB Auto four times now, and Mr Sam, the owner, has always been courteous and patient each time. He is accurate with auto diagnostics and Sam is honest and up front with the costs with no hidden fees or charges. After each visit, my vehicle has run smoothly with no difficulties. I definitely recommend the mechanic services he provides at his automotive repair shop. Thanks Sam!
