First visit was excellent! They explained my issue was electrical and could wait. They didn’t charge anything for the diagnosis. A true relief. Thank you Update: truck dying, each time I called to check on truck, Tyler said untouched. But truck leaking oil. Second day, I asked how much to just oil change, he said $129. I said do it, and I’m coming to get truck. They had not touched truck after taking bus there. They finally did oil change, then told me $189 for oil change. Tyler showed up later and then gave me a price of over $220!!! Tyler finally brought price down to $192, but tried to explain they cared for truck, so had to push it, so price expensive. What??

Guaranteed Transmission put A transmission in my 2008 Chevy Malibu last year 2025 and guaranteed it. The work was complete within just a few days. David the service guy was ever so kind and a super informative about the entire procedure. I brought my car back in today is there installing a sway bar and the new gentleman that works there is also very informative, polite and knows exactly what needs to be done and don't forget the name says it all. GUARANTEED TRANSMISSION!! One more very important point. They allowed me to pay for the transmission repair at my pace which actually I paid a few days before the work,during and after. They will work with you. Very fair prices, honest bunch of guys..

Unbelievably awesome experience. Blown away. Read the rest to find out why it was so good. I was a Blackhawk helicopter maintenance test pilot in the Army, have swapped a previous car from an auto to a manual 6 speed transmission on my own, and generally have a pretty good knowledge of cars, power trains, etc…. When I walked in, I started describing my issue and — without looking a single thing up — Tyler knew more than I did about my car and transmission. Just off the top of his head. And this was *after* I had run my issues through Claude to get AI’s take on what might be going on. I opted to leave my vehicle to get it checked out, knowing i could be on the hook for a full transmission rebuild. However, Tyler and his team figured out the exact solution and provided suggestions on the most economical way to approach it. I *know* I will need a new (or rebuilt) transmission down the road, if not in this vehicle then in one of my other three, and this is the only place I would go. Trustworthy, honest, and super knowledgeable. Rare to have such an awesome experience with an auto shop — and it can be hard to find places you can trust as a transient military guy — but this place is fantastic. You won’t be disappointed.

Avoid. I had to replace the left front suspension parts where THEY ZIP TIED THINGS like the torn CV boot.. I guess they tried to keep the boot on long enough for me not to notice their shoddy work? I also had to replace a crushed tie rod, my ABS lights are on and the sensors weren't bolted back on - you guessed it, more zip ties. The car shifts in OD like the tranny is skipping but i was told its my throttle body. No diagnostics, just a punt back to someone else. It's hard to find good and honest mechanics. I'd have paid to replace the boot and bushing, but now i had to be surprised when the CV axle died from dirt ingestion.. Thanks, guaranteed transmission. Thanks a lot. I have been fighting with my Buick for a while and then the transmission went out; it would no longer shift from first to any other gear than reverse. The garage was very upfront with any costs to diagnose and what the process was and once it was completed, they called me to the shop to bear witness to what I already had suspected. The trans needed replaced - long story short, I have the supercharged Park Ave and a while ago the trans was replaced but with the standard model. Anyways, Hector showed me exactly where it was worn, why, and how, then explained why the cost was what it would be. Totally worth it knowing that the engine was in great shape, so why not try another decade with a replaced trans? Turns out that after the replacement, an oil change, and a few seals the oil pressure decided to not work. The transmission was amazing however the car now made knocking noises! I requested they have a look - no arguments, they took it right back, recommended and then dropped the pan and cleaned out the oil and delivery channels. This resolved those issues and now we're back to a fully functional Buick ready for another 10 years (hopefully). Three year warranty on the transmission and wonderful, upfront, and trustworthy service. 100% recommended. EDIT: They told me battery was dead so I agreed to let them replace it. They did, but whoever did it was lazy and had poor work. They stripped the mounting bolt due to a cross thread and instead of stopping, removing the bolt and trying again, they just zip tied the battery into place. The negative terminal on the battery wasn't tight and was causing starting issues, so I had to remove the entire tray and all hardware, saw it off and replace it. Shoddy work especially for how much we paid. If I hadn't been as mechanically inclined as i was, this would have been another charge for them to figure out. Transmission is great though.

Really recommend Guaranteed Transmission. Tyler was super helpful and went out of his way to talk with me and give his opinoin on a quote I got from the dealership. I originally had my car towed here after my trans went out only to realize I had two months left on my warranty. They were super nice about it and I had the car towed from here to the dealership. I then went back and spoke with Tyler after my service recommendation came back from the dealership and Tyler spent time with me to explain what the dealership recommended and gave me some questions to ask them. These guys seem honest about the work they do, that is always my biggest worry with shops nowadays. They certainly have my business moving forward.
