Do yourself a favor and go across the street to a different shop. Good customer service doesn’t involve handing me a water. Good customer service for a mechanic shop is more about honesty and good work at a fair price. Most people that bring their cars in to a shop are vulnerable and this shop knows that and takes advantage of it. I told them what I thought was wrong with the car. On top of a few other worries I noticed like possibly changing timing cover and valve cover gasket. Starter is going out and that my battery and alternator had been replaced recently. How much to replace it? $519.25!! Then $1,112.49 to replace timing cover and $481.05 for gasket! Like what!? The spot next door charged me a quarter of that! In the end I got charged $198.64 for the diagnostic and a battery change because apparently mine was out of juice even though recently replaced! But yes to literally connect my battery I was charged $64.93. I hope the customer service has gotten better and they take care of people better. I’m sure they have fine mechanics but the prices are not reasonable. I hope this helps someone in the future.

I was looking for a car garage to take my vechile to get repaired and I noticed Goose Auto repair had a lot of good reviews so I took my vechile there for the repairs. I was very impressed on how clean and organized the lobby and garage was. I was greeted by Andi Garcia who made feel welcome and appreciated. She was very knowledgeable and professional. My vechile was inspected the following day and I was given a total breakdown as to what my vechile needed, it was just up to me on what I wanted to get done with no pressure. I have to say, Goose Auto Repair was straight forward, honest and very friendly. I give them five stars!

Brought my vehicle in for repairs because my son had previously used this shop. I dropped it off on Monday with an appointment already scheduled. I had also already received a diagnostic elsewhere, which indicated camshaft sensors. Despite having an appointment, my vehicle wasn’t even looked at until Thursday. I understand shops get busy, but what exactly is the point of making an appointment if my car is just going to sit there for days? I paid $850 to have three sensors replaced and was told that was the issue. Fine — I trusted their diagnosis, paid, and picked up my vehicle on Friday. Not even 30 minutes after leaving, my check engine light came back on. I immediately called and was told to bring it back, which I did on Monday. Then on Tuesday, I was suddenly told it was supposedly a completely different issue — now “timing” — and that they needed another $370 just for further diagnostics. And if it is timing? Another $2,000+. So after already paying $850 based on their “fix,” now I’m expected to keep paying hundreds more because the original diagnosis was either incomplete or incorrect? This felt dishonest, misleading, and like I was being set up for one expensive repair after another. Customers deserve transparency and proper diagnostics from the start — especially when paying that kind of money. I will never return to Goose Automotive and would absolutely not recommend them.

Easily made an appointment for an oil change with Andi. She was friendly and handled everything very professionally. The technician completed the car in the time she gave me. I will return to them for further service on my 2015 LS460. The garage is clean and organized. I highly recommend Goose on Bandera Rd.
