I cannot thank Kosub Transmission enough. I recently had an intermittent rough shift issue in my 2024 GMC truck which was just past the OEM warranty. I started by taking it to a GM dealership. The dealership only offered to do a fluid flush and hope for the best. The dealer did the fluid flush and this did not fix the issue. I first called Kosub to see if they were willing to work on a newer, modern 10 speed transmission. There was no hesitation and they said to bring it on in. After the test drove the vehicle and performed diagnostics, Justin called with an update and a detailed plan. Within a few days, my truck was fixed. Justin‘s communication throughout this process is what stood out to me the most. While we were waiting for a part to be shipped, he called everyday with an update. Thank you Kosub family.

Very honest and polite staff. Went in expecting the worst and drove out with an inexpensive repair and a functioning truck. Turns out instead of a rebuild it was only filters, previous shop installed a knock off filter that was causing my issues. Gerald took the time to show me where the failure was on the filter and the reasoning as to why it was causing my shifting issues. This was my first time going to Kosub’s and they treated me like a life long customer. I cannot recommend them enough. If you’re looking for a honest shop please give them a call.

View on GoogleTransmission failed with burnt clutch packs and black fluid after 30,000 miles. I watch my temperatures like a hawk, drive so smooth it makes other people mad, and don't hoon my vehicle. They do not build a reliable transmission. Got my truck back with P2267, "Water in fuel sensor circuit high". Been chasing it for a while now and discovered that somehow the pin for that circuit got rammed into the connector, visible in the photos below. Didn't bother to fix it, just fought it and broke it. Careless at best, and yes I will solemnly swear and put money on the fact that the DTC was NOT tripped when dropped off, and this connector is typically removed to drop the crossmember to access the transmission (which they did). Backside of connector shows 3 wires entering the large gauge side of the connector, front view shows 2 pins and 1 pin barely visible.
