My family used Colbath probably 25 years ago and a couple times since. I went in for a diagnosis on my transmission couple weeks ago, Nancy got me checked in and I was checking out about 2 hours later and was told what all was needed. I scheduled the repairs and dropped the truck off on Sunday March 15th so it would be there 1st thing Monday morning, I was told it was a 5 day turnaround which was perfectly OK with me. On Wednesday March 18th at around 1245pm I recvd a call from Nancy who advised me the truck was ready. I made my way down there around 3pm and Harry explained what all he had to do, no big surprises. He told me that I made the right call to bring it in when I did, as it was pretty close to being an even bigger repair. He showed me the parts he replaced and explained the difference in the old parts as opposed to new ones. Employees like these 2 are what makes businesses last and keeps repeat customers.

TAKE YOUR TRANSMISSION HERE. I took my '21 Ram Cummins 2500 with 225,000 miles on the original transmission. It was a mess, not going in to overdrive, shifting violently, and overheating. I decided to have it rebuilt as it was time. I drive cross country through the mountains with personnel and equipment all hours of the day and night and need a reliable truck for my business. Harry was very attentive, and showed me all the parts and kept me informed. He is a veteran, and passionate about his work. When I picked it up there was still a problem. He made it a priority, kept me informed, and thoroughly explained what was going on. When there is an issue like this the business's culture is revealed. This kind of service is so rare these days. Nancy, the young lady up front, was always pleasant and eager to help. Harry and his guys came very highly recommended to me from several big name car dealerships in town. I'll be taking all of my auto mechanical service work to him and Colbath Automotive moving forward. Keep up the great work!
View on GoogleOverall 4/5. They do great work but the last time I went in I had to call and ask if my vehicle was finished and they had it for over a week for a warranty service. I don't know if they were busy and since it was a warranty they pushed it to the side. One other note, their parking lot is overcrowded, I came to find they stored my vehicle a block away parked on the street while they waited to work on it. This is unacceptable, leaving a customers vehicle well outside of view, they're lucky customer's vehicles haven't been vandalized or stolen.
