Brake and Tire Check

I had a fantastic experience at Brake Check Shop! The staff was professional, friendly, and very thorough. Jihad, the manager, truly knows his stuff when it comes to cars. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel confident that my vehicle was in great hands. The quality of work was top-notch, and I appreciated their honesty and attention to detail. Highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for reliable and expert car.

I'm giving a five-star review, but honestly, it's only because of how well the second location handled the situation after a very frustrating start. I originally had an appointment scheduled for 4:15 PM and arrived early at 3:45 PM. By 5:05 PM, after waiting for an hour and twenty minutes, I was finally asked to go to a different location because they were running behind. What was frustrating is that they already knew they were significantly behind well before then. During the entire time I was there, only one person appeared to be working on vehicles. Another employee, who I was told was the manager, was frequently going in and out to his car. I was later told he doesn't really work on cars, which is perfectly fine, but better communication would have gone a long way. It would have been much more professional to tell me upfront, "We're backed up with two cars in the bays and may not be able to get to you for a while. Would you like to reschedule or visit our other location?" Instead, I sat there for over an hour while one technician worked and no one gave me a realistic update. That said, once I arrived at the second location, everything changed. The store manager immediately took care of me, got my car into the bay right away, walked me through everything that needed attention, and provided outstanding customer service. He even honored a lower price I had been quoted elsewhere, which I greatly appreciated. So while the experience started off poorly, the second location completely turned it around. Their professionalism, transparency, and customer service are the reason this review is five stars. They took a frustrating situation and made it right.

OMG of course I’m gonna give a review because Christian was awesome. All I wanted to do was get an alignment. I had went to another location they wanted to charge me a couple hundred dollars for each tire rod because they said it was stuck locked and that would’ve been at least $600. Christian worked with it got it loosened just said it was a lot of rust in there because my vehicle came from Arizona got it all taken care of. So I got out of there with $100. I was very pleased that he didn’t take advantage of me being female which the other location obviously did, great work definitely we use that location in the future. Thank you.

Very disappointing experience with Brake Check. Today I purchased new tires from this location and also have lifetime free alignment and brake pad replacement coverage through them. I relied on their staff to properly inspect the vehicle, explain what was needed, and perform the appropriate work. Later, I discovered the alignment and brake issues were not properly addressed. When I raised concerns, the response was not an apology or an attempt to make things right — I was essentially told it was my fault because I “didn’t approve” certain labor. That explanation makes little sense considering I already have lifetime alignment and brake pad coverage through Brake Check. There is still no reasonable explanation for why the alignment was not performed or properly addressed during the tire installation. It seems they just didn’t want to do the work as it was free for me. The most frustrating part was the attitude afterward. Mistakes happen in business. Refusing to take accountability and blaming the customer is what destroys trust. I won’t be returning to this location.

Came here for a check before I roadtrip north and Jahar was super helpful and transparent about what my car needed. All of the other guys that helped were kind as well and thorough in explaining what was going on with my tires and brakes. I have been coming here for a couple years now and don’t plan on stopping.
