Took my car to Brake and Tire Check for new brakes and they were awesome. Fast service, fair price, and no upselling. They explained what they found, got it done, and my car stops like new. Will definitely be back. Thanks guys!
View on GoogleI appreciate the customer service Marcus provided. He was fairly kind, respectful, and I believe he did what he could. That said, I generally hate going to car shops because as a woman, it often feels like you are being disregarded, upsold, or taken advantage of, and unfortunately this experience did not do much to change that feeling. My biggest issue was communication. I could overhear that the shop did not have the rotors my car needed and could hear them call someone to bring them in. Once that was known, I should have been told immediately instead of having to come outside and ask for an ETA before getting the full story. I understand that waiting on a part may not have been Marcus’s fault, but telling me “15 more minutes” and then having that turn into nearly another hour was frustrating. I was there for over 2 hours just to have my brakes and rotors changed, and with better communication, I could have made an informed decision about whether I wanted to keep waiting or go somewhere else. I also think workflow and time management need improvement. It is nice that the staff seem to enjoy each other’s company, but at times it felt like the joking around was slowing things down, not just for me but for the customers before me as well. What really left a bad impression was being told at closing that I should come back in 2 weeks for shocks that would cost another $600+, but that they did not have time to do it now because they were closing. That is not a great message to give a customer after they have already been stuck waiting much longer than expected. Overall, Marcus was kind, but the experience reinforced why I dread going to car shops in the first place. Better communication, better time management, and more respect for the customer’s time would make a huge difference.

Very honest and straightforward with what my vehicle needed. kept me updated with pictures of what parts was needed and the current state the parts I had were on. So professional.
