Oh gosh were do I start...So I had issues with my truck for some time now. I normally get my oil changes done at break check till recently. I noticed that my truck had been leaking a lot of oil and wasn't happy about it. I asked around for a good mechanic and was told Al's does a great job. So I took a chance and asked for their help. I 1st told them that I had a really bad major oil leak and wasn't sure if due to the leak it may also be overheating. It wasn't over heating that bad but did notice that I would need to put coolant at least once every week. However what was most important to me at the moment was the oil leak. Upon their review that did tell me that I needed a new radiator and fan not to mention the parts for the oil leak. They quoted me $2,278 in total over the phone while I was at work. I did tell him that the price was too high for me and that there was no way I can pay all that amount right now so that the main thing that I could only afford was the oil leak. He insisted that I do the radiator but again told him that I didn't have enough and that eventually I would need to get it done but not right now. Something still didn't feel right to me after the phone call so I asked my boyfriend to please go to the shop and to get me an estimate amount of how much the oil leak would be and to make sure that we would need to wait on the radiator. He told my boyfriend that I said to do it all...which again I had to remind him that I could not afford to fix that part right now. Long story story short, in order to fix the oil leak, the radiator needed to be removed to so they can "get in" to fix the leak. Not sure what was done when they put my radiator back on but some how there wasn't any coolant leaking when I tool it to them and now it leaks all the coolant and my truck is overheating worse than it was before. All I'm gonna say is that in you are in the business of "Auto Mechanic Worker". please do not try to nickel and dime all your customers for your own benefit while causing more issues for your clients in repairs. You are in the business to help your clients not poke their eyes and cause more damage to their vehicles, God does not like ugly and see your greed and somehow KARMA always will find a way back to you. Take a look at my receipt if you don't believe me. Remind you, I did not ask for my radiator to get fixed but yet was over charged for labor!

So I brought it in to have the gaskets removed and replaced which would need for them to take off the valve covers timing cover then the heads. I broke it down to them before I left so they know what to do aside from the work I’ve already done to it. I explained to them it heated up on me and I bypassed the heater core with a hose and had pointed it out then they asked me where the bypass and what did it do? Red flag number 1 ! Later that day they call to ask what size motor I had in the vehicle red flag number 2 ! They hid the head gaskets from me and never checked to see where the real problem was coming from. The heads or the block Red Flag number 3 ! I told them I didn’t want to replace the motor but they had already pulled it out and took everything apart and didn’t use cardboard cut outs or use baggies and mark them to identify where they go they just threw them all together on a roller table Red Flag number 4&5 So they sent me to a salvage yard and they said they had the motor it was 1000 bucks so I go ahead and buy it and it was the wrong motor.. we tired a different one and it was also the wrong motor it came down to the last resort was to rebuild the motor When I had initially called the shop and talked to the owner ( AL ) I told him I don’t want to go that route if that was the case I rather just keep the car and save up for it so he was like ok well don’t bring the car in Later he called me back asking are you in a hurry to fix you car? And I was like no but I can afford to make payments on it as it’s being worked on to which he said no let’s go ahead and bring it in and pay for it when we get everything worked on which was a great deal and opportunity for me but things didn’t work out as according to plan.. At that point I just wanted my car back he got mad because I told him I would have never taken it to him if he didn’t tell me to take it to him especially after he was like no at first. He got insulted when I said this is partially his fault and got all in his feelings about it Over all his mechanics aren’t licensed mechanics they just know how to remove and replace parts I ended up out of pocket 800 dollars and got my car back in this condition dirty dusty and having bird droppings on it and I would have gladly payed 400 but he wanted 800 to give it back in worse condition than it went in there he didn’t even have the decency to bargain about it Over all horrible experience for a failure of a job, a lot of unnecessary attitude and disrespect for his own decision to take the car in to be worked on couldn’t even have the car cleaned before giving it back. What a sorry excuse of a man and a mechanic shop. These are LEGO mechanics remove replace not real educated mechanic with licenses or certification They can get easy work done but not major work done There was a way to make the used motor worked but they weren’t smart enough to figure it out so that’s where I drew the line with them.. Be careful with these guys I wish I could use more adult language in this review but I can’t . AL you’re a pathetic business man and business owner you were worried about being out of pocket and not being ripped off that seems to only be your specialty Real mechanics would have shown me the gaskets and proved where the leak or leaks were coming from they don’t know how to do that they found the tiniest little marks and pointed them out and and we like here’s your problem the whole motor needs to be replace Pathetic and the most worthless service I’ve ever been given out of a shop I’ll have to do the work myself and I put gaskets on and it starts and fixed the problem this is definitely worth going to small claims court over and worth reporting to the BBB and so on
View on GoogleDispite the bad reviews, this automotive shop does good and honest work, it’s not a performance shop so don’t expect too high but for simply fixing problems it is a good mechanic shop. I’ve taken both my cars and almost always manage to make it out the shop with a good running car. Ps. Some people fail to realize that there 💩box will have regular ware and tare and 90 percent of the time will just blame the mechanics.
View on GoogleIf you're looking for PARTS CHANGERS , you have found the right place . I took my truck into their shop after having my check engine light come on. After paying them over $ 500. In labor and spending over $ 600 in parts . The check engine light is still coming on and putting the same codes as it was previously doing. Not only that but while it was in their shop I was told the EGR valve wasn't working and while they were attempting to remove it and the pipe attached to the valve they twisted and damaged the pipe. Now the engine is NO GOOD because the pipe they damaged is no longer available and they REFUSED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGING IT. I asked the owner AL to fix their damages they caused and he said ( ITS AN OLD TRUCK SO ITS NORMAL FOR THEM TO DAMAGE THINGS WHILE TRYING TO REPAIR THEM. ) THEY REFUSE TO CONTINUE WORKING ON MY TRUCK AND TOLD ME THEY WERE DONE AND NOT TO COME BACK. I will be contacting The Media about my problem they created and try to get it resolved on TV . Watch for future posts .
View on GoogleQuoted me 120. To press a bearing, as I’m walking away he says, “ don’t hold me to it though.” meaning it might go up. I told him, if you can’t do it for 120, don’t do it. I’m not an idiot but I had no choice. My daughter needed her car. I’m mechanically inclined and know how to do repairs. I was just in a hard spot. All other people were closed or their press was broken. They charge 40.00 to do the job. While Lorenzo likes to overcharge . Go elsewhere, you’ll save money. I’m not saying they’re not good mechanics, I’m saying he over charges by a long shot
