Access Transmission

Decent Transmission Shop. I brought my transmission to this shop for them to rebuild it, I asked if the kit was a full rebuild including valve body and the guy said yes. They rebuilt my transmission in about 3-4 days which was great and all. But once I reinstalled the transmission, added the fluid and did all the relearn procedures the transmission shifted horribly and went into limp mode. I code scanned the vehicle and found that one of the solenoids was not responding. I called the owner and he told me to get the van to them. I spent $250 on a tow to the shop for them to tell me that they needed to order a part aka the valve body which they should've already replaced, and they had to order it from Ford. Once the van was done after about a week, I asked the owner if I would get a reimbursement on the tow and he said they will not cover it under warranty. Then after picking up the vehicle he then says, next time bring the full vehicle to us and have us do it because these transmissions are "finicky" and have to be programmed correctly. As if insisting I don't know what im doing. Any Mechanic that has access to Michelle1/prodemand would know that the relearn procedures are on there step by step. With spending $3500 at this transmission shop I am not super impressed with their work.

Very happy with my experience at Access. They were quick, professional, and my vehicle is working great now. I won’t mention the name of another shop, but I was quoted almost double for the same job.

As a new customer, l was pleased with the work on my transmission. It was a reasonable price, and quick service. I gave it 4stars because when the parking lot is full the car is parked in a dusty field out back. There are low bumps and if you are not careful you could ruin a spoiler or fender. I got my car back with dust on it and yes Darrin, it had finger prints on the windows. Don't take me wrong. Darrin was helpful, and listen to my all needs.They are good people who know their job, quick and dependable, but a few minor errors. If l had transmission problems with my other vehicles, l would take it here at Access. I changed my star review. I felt that third time would be a charm. Took my transmission back because it is still leaking. If they did an overhaul seals, speedometer cable, shouldn't leak. Came home and transmission was over serviced. I give them one star. Also came home with dust and finger prints.

I definitely can’t say enough about this place. They’re absolutely an outstanding shop. I have dealt with them for 3 of my personal transmission rebuilds and repairs. Darrin and his staff have delivered every signal time. I deal with Access Transmission on a daily basis with work and their turn around time is always short. As busy as they are every single day. They don’t seems to skip a beat. They have been in service for a long time and I can definitely see why. I plan to continue bringing my business to Access for years to come. Thank you again for the quick turn around time with my repairs.

I have never felt more fueled to make a review!! But here it goes! I dropped off my vehicle here and it stayed for months. They knew they couldn’t fix it but their management has no communication what so ever and is just eager to just take your money on just holding cost! They replaced things that didn’t need to be replaced! Their mechanics obviously don’t know what they’re doing! This place has major room for growth, communication to their customers should be their top priority, and their mechanics could benefit by actually doing the work they know how to do. If you know you can’t fix something, just let a customer know. Don’t let their car sit there for months. Do not I repeat Do not bring your car to this place it would never drive the same way again!
