This the most HONEST and CUSTOMER FRIENDLY shop I have dealt with. I thought my transmission was having issues. I assumed it was the torque converter. I was calling around to see about getting it flushed to hopefully fix the issue. I spoke with Dylan and he explained everything they would do in relation to servicing the transmission, to find the root cause. He even explained in detail, why a flush would not be the best route to go. He let me know how that could potentially damage the transmission and he didn't want me to have to deal with that later down the road. He was very honest and even explained the process with the part coming in, to when he could have it repaired. I arrived and his kindness and knowledge isn't fake. He was nice to the person on the phone and even the person who arrived after me. He found that it wasn't my transmission at all. It was my piston misfiring causing the issue. He again went in to detail explaining what could cause this. If anyone suggests work on their transmission, I will point them to Dylan at Sterling Transmission. He was ready to go above and beyond to help me out. These are the hometown shops you want to support. Very honest and treated me with respect.

I called Sterling Transmission after being notified by an oil change technician elsewhere of a transmission leak. He was generous enough to look at my vehicle and determine that it was not a transmission problem. Did not charge me and gave solid advice based on what he saw. I appreciate the honesty and will definitely return here if I ever have a transmission issue.
