I brought my vehicle in under warranty for a battery issue. Initially, I was told the battery was “good” and that I simply needed to drive the vehicle more or put it on a charger. I explained that I don’t own a charger and asked them to charge it on-site, which they agreed to. About 20–30 minutes into charging, the representative came back and said the battery had “failed.” Without doing proper research, he then told me I would need to pay $339 for a new battery, even though my vehicle is under warranty. I clearly stated that I purchased the vehicle in September 2023, but he insisted the warranty was based on the manufacturing date. WHICH I LOL'D TOO BECAUSE IT'S FROM 'DATE OF SERVICE' (other words when the vehicle is first purchased by a buyer) After I questioned this, he went to speak with multiple people and eventually returned to admit that the battery was in fact covered under warranty. So within the same visit, I was told: 1. The battery was fine. 2. The battery had failed and I would need to pay for it. 3. The battery was actually covered under warranty. This experience was frustrating and concerning. Either the representative was poorly informed, or there was an attempt to have me pay for something that should have been covered. The issue was eventually resolved, but it should never have escalated this far. Please beware and always question everything at this service center offers or suggests.
