A Plus Transmission Specialists

I wanted my trucks transmission filter and fluid changed. I called around and got prices at local mechanic shops, and all the prices were unreasonably more expensive then I expected. I decide to call a transmission specialist. I called A Plus Transmission. The price was much less than the mechanic shops I called. They said they could take me today so I dropped my car off. When I got there the lot was full. I thought for sure it would be a couple of days. The manager assured me it would be done today and he would call me when it was finished. A few hours later I got the call went picked up the car. I looked around the car, looked under the car and everything was clean and tidy. I was more than satisfied. I will recommend this place to everyone I know, to let them know where to go if they have transmission services needed.

Exceptional Service – Went Above and Beyond I had a major transmission issue with my GL450 right before travel, and John truly went above and beyond to help me. Even though I reached late for my appointment, and this was during the busy Christmas holidays, John made sure my car was fixed on time because he knew I had to travel the very next day. From the start, he was honest, patient, and very knowledgeable. He clearly explained the issue, walked me through the repair process, and kept everything transparent. Despite the time crunch and holiday schedule, he didn’t rush the job and ensured the transmission repair was done properly. Wow, what a great experience. My wife had been on me for six months to get this service done. I kept putting it off, as I’d had several bad experiences with other transmission shops. When I called to make an appointment, it was quick and easy. I showed up early, and as I was waiting, a half dozen employees were showing up for work, on time, and with smiles on their faces. We were greeted at the door and checked in within several minutes. The service was great and at the quoted price. I will not go anywhere else from now on. These guys scored 13 out of ten. Thanks!

I really had a great day today. Started off at APlus Transmisson shop in Rosenberg, Texas. Took my 2011 Chevy Suburban for service. The $89.95 special. Both mangers where great, Cameron and Hugo answered every question. Was in and out within the time frame. Also the tech working on my truck explained his findings and even showed me the dirty filter. Great place , great people, great service. More than 5 STAR Service.

Update: (Changed up from a 1 star) Within a few hours of posting my original review the General Manager for A Plus had called me, on Easter Sunday, to let me know he was aware of the situation and was going make sure we were taken care us. He told us that they would cover the cost for a rental car to get us home and would tow the vehicle from south Dallas back to the shop in Rosenburg. Once the vehicle arrived, they determined that the rear seal that had been installed was defective. They replaced the seal and performed a full inspection of the transmission to confirm everything else was in good condition. While overall the situation was frustrating their GM's prompt response and their commitment to stand behind their warranty and make things right says a lot about how they operate. [ Original Post- I had my transmission repaired at the shop in Rosenberg last week. Now after driving under 500 miles I have a notable transmission leak from the back seal. I’m stuck up in Dallas with a family members driveway stained with transmission fluid and likely stuck up here until Monday.]
