I purchased a used truck from Pleasanton Truck Company. During the test drive, I checked the oil life on the dash and saw it was around 60%. I asked the salesman about it, and he told me the truck had been recently serviced. Based on that, I assumed they had simply forgotten to reset the oil life indicator and moved forward with the purchase. A couple of weeks later, while replacing the headlights, I removed the air intake and checked the air filter. It was extremely dirty—full of dirt and straw—and the radiator area also showed signs of neglect. After seeing that, I replaced the intake filter myself. A few months later, when it was time for an oil change, I also had the fuel filter and cabin air filter replaced. The cabin air filter was completely packed with dust, which further made me question whether the vehicle had actually been serviced as claimed. I also want to mention that the dealership had about a week’s notice before my appointment to come view the truck, yet it had not been properly cleaned. There was sand and dirt inside, and I even found an old hair tie left behind. Lastly, while not a major issue, I feel it’s basic courtesy when purchasing a truck that it comes with a full tank of fuel. Instead, I left with about a quarter tank of diesel and half a tank of DEF. Overall, these issues make me concerned that I was misled about the condition and servicing of the vehicle.

Searched online and found several trucks to go look at. Easiest and most comfortable interaction I have ever experienced. Found the perfect truck and purchased it on the spot. We were pre approved and Arthur was extremely helpful with the paperwork and the buying process. Truck missing hub cap, but they are ordering it and direct shipping it to us. We tried to get more info on why the dash states a trailer is disconnected as we hit bumps on a test drive, never got a clear answer or a call back on the situation. It was an AS IS truck BUT the sales man said he would get us answers …We then tried placing a deposit on the vehicle as we live 2 hours away and intended on making the purchase the following day. After going back and forth with us on the phone about having to offer a different customer the opportunity to put down a deposit on the same truck, they had an attitude about us calling and inquiring (after they told us the other client already declined to put a deposit previously ) . They then gave us the run around and later that evening once the other gentleman didn’t buy the truck, they called us and gave us the “option” to put a deposit. At this point it left us under the impression they were essentially conducting a “bidding war” between us and the other client. Now while that may have not been the case, the customer service left us frustrated and questioning the integrity of the dealer. We ended up buying a beautiful F350 long bed platinum ultimate that same evening, here where we live :)

This was the last stop on my truck shopping journey and should have been my first. No pushy salesman trying to up sale me on my truck. I knew what I wanted and Arthur made my buying experience pain free. I was driving off the lot in less than two hours. Test drive paper work and keys out the door.
