Him and his crew went above and beyond for my AC repairs, let’s face it in Texas, we want that ac repaired and working quickly. The team went out of their way to ensure I was taken care of and my AC is blowing great. If you want excellent and quick service, these are your people!

This was my second visit since the new management took over, and unfortunately, it will be my last. On May 8, I brought my vehicle to Rooster Ridge because it was jerking and would not accelerate properly. I also provided the diagnostic codes I had received from O’Reilly Auto Parts, one of which indicated a possible transmission issue. Adrian told me they would perform their own diagnostics and test drive the vehicle before providing an estimate. Instead, the technician immediately began taking parts off my vehicle before giving me the promised estimate. I was told the problem was a faulty mass airflow sensor along with several filters that needed replacing. The initial estimate was $1,292 using OEM parts. After I requested aftermarket parts, the estimate dropped to $1,083. Although I was hesitant, I trusted their professional diagnosis because they assured me these repairs would solve the problem and told me my car would be ready in about an hour. Approximately 45 minutes later, I was asked to pay while they said the technician was finishing the work. After my payment was processed, I was informed they could not get my vehicle into gear. Only then was I told that I actually needed a transmission replacement. They quoted me approximately $7,900 for a new transmission or $5,700 for a used one—both well beyond the value of my vehicle. I test drove the car with the technician, and it was exhibiting the exact same symptoms it had before the repairs. When I asked why the airflow sensor and filters had been replaced if the transmission was the actual problem, I never received a direct answer. I was simply told to speak with the front office. Wanting to be certain, I sought a second opinion from an independent mechanic. After inspecting the vehicle, he confirmed that the transmission was the underlying issue all along and that replacing the airflow sensor and filters before properly diagnosing the transmission was unnecessary. I paid more than $1,000 for repairs that did not correct the problem, only to be told afterward that I needed a transmission. That experience left me feeling that unnecessary repairs were performed before identifying the true cause of the issue. I’m sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision before choosing this repair shop. I believe customers deserve an accurate diagnosis before being charged for repairs that do not resolve the original complaint.

Since I moved the Texas, this has been my local car care facility. They have done a wonderful job. They stay in great communication and typically get the job done same day. The prices have been more than fair and the service has been nothing short of excellent. I highly recommend the shop to anybody. I work with Prendon the most, and he is fantastic
