I was taking my car to Briones for small general jobs till I had him fix CV axel and his worker damaged seal on transmission oil . I took it back to him told see why check engine light came on and he said transmission oil, charged me $40 said probably transmission and knew of a guy. Light came back on took it to different mechanic and that mechanic asked if I had had cv axel fixed and the damage that was done. Paid this mechanic $425 to fix it and prayed it didn’t mess up the transmission. Car driving fine now but Briones avoiding my call cuz I told him the bad job his worker had done and what was damaged!! Never again will I take a vehicle to him!

I'm only giving it a 1 review all because I can't give 0. I've never met a mechanic or one that calls themselves mechanics and has a shop going to tell you to go to a muffler place to get things done. All mechanics that I know work on everything that's why they're called a mechanic they have a garage if they don't then they should specify what they do and not just called himself a mechanic. Mechanics do everything not certain things.
