Brake and Tire Check

People were friendly. It was pretty fast. The only problem I have is the steering wheel is not completely centered. And also my check blind spot safety system is on also check rear cross traffic safety system is on and my check forward safety system light is on as well. I’m hoping it will go back to normal. I am leaving out of town tomorrow so I can’t even go back the next day and see if I can get it fixed. I’m hoping I can call tomorrow and see if I can get it fixed when I get back from out of town.

I have been going to Brake Check for about 5 years or so. I have NEVER had bad service there. I have gone to different locations and they have always treated me and the other customers well. The attendant was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He was multitasking by answering the phone, checking customers out and providing assistance to the customers in the lobby. The guys attending to the vehicles would come into the lobby frequently updating the customers on the status of their vehicles and apologizing for any delays. Even though it was a busy Saturday afternoon, they serviced my vehicle quickly. Great service! If you haven't given them a try, I suggest you do!!! You will not regret it!

Horrible!!!…On this past Saturday I drove in Brake Check on Spencer Highway in Pasadena TX. All I wanted was a free break inspection. So, I showed Joseph how to properly insert the ignition key. After the inspection I declined the over $1k estimate for repairs. Another employee I believe to be name Anthony, but not sure because he didn’t have his name on his shirt drove the truck to me. Just minutes later my front driver side tire came off. Fortunately, I felt how strange the truck was steering and got off the highway. I found four of the lug nuts laying in the middle of the street. Called Anthony he said they didn’t take the wheels off on the driver side. I replied, someone did because they were put on by a tire shop with air drill gun. He also stated he would have corporate H R (Human Resources) investigate it. I called AAA to put the tire back on. We couldn’t get the key to turn or pull out of the ignition because it had been forced in upside down. So, I had the truck towed to my personal mechanic, who used WD 40 and a pair of players to get the key out of the ignition. That Monday I called corporate office in San Antonio. No answer left message. No call back. Later, I called the Stella Link location and spoke with Mike. Told me he is over that shop and he had a doctors appointment would call me back in an hour and a half. Three hour later still no phone call. Explained the issues with him. Was told he’d make a report to corporate. Today, my brake wheel is scrubbing. Wasn’t doing that until I took the truck for a free brake inspection. It’s so sad that all the employees involved in this are people that look like me (black).

The employees were great, explained and showed me what needed to be repaired. Best prices I have found so far as well. Definitely recommend going her for your car needs.

Had to return after my brakes were repaired. For some unusual noise. But i talked to jade and he gladly re inspected my car and took care of all issues and then some so im really happy and appreciative for a great job. Will be retuning for future repairs. God bless ...
