In September 2022, I didn't know how to write a Google review. I do now. My car was hesitating upon starting. I was worried it might be the starter. I took it to Master Tech Auto at their old location on Military Parkway and left it overnight to be worked on first thing in the morning. They had it all day and said they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. They told me to take it home and wait for it to act up again. So I took it home and within a few days, it was dead and I had to have it towed back to Master Tech. Again they had it all day and couldn't figure it out. Finally towards the end of the day they discovered it was the battery! These are supposed to be professional mechanics?? I was floored! I went to pick it up and they charged me $500. Yes folks, $500 for a battery. This is how Master Tech Auto treats desperate women who have no choice but to pay up. And the reason I just wrote this today? That battery just went out two months after the warranty expired. Pep Boys installed a new one today for $274.95. Beware! You've been warned.

As others have already said, I can attest to that too. MasterTech will throw useless fixes and parts at the problem, charge outrageous labor hours, and the issue still won’t be resolved, even after keeping your vehicle for nearly a month. MasterTech suggested to bring back to run codes... Which should have already be done. Now I am broke, vehicle-less and now trying to figure out how to get to work. The real question is will you reach out to actually try to resolve the problem or offer a partial refund.

Looking for an honest mechanic? I have found them!! As a woman owning a sports car countless times when I take my Corvette to a shop I get the upsell. I can’t even go to an oil change place without the “Ma’am you need a _________ and a _______” always something I don’t really need. Now I only go to Lonnie and his team at MasterTech. Straight forward pricing, exceptional service and really nice guys! Lonnie came in on a Saturday so I could pick up my car on my day off. Highly recommend!
