David Smart is most honorable and honest. Did a great job rebuilding the top of my 3.5 vortex engine in my 2008 Tahoe. He stood good for the heads the machine shop screwed up and replace them completely. Replaced the cam, oil pump, intake and recalibrated the computer. Did away with the bullshit flex fuel GM screwed up. That was in Feb, 2024. Gave us a 2 yr, unlimited mile warranty. We now have 37,000 miles on this repair. No issues what so ever with his work. Only recently had a tune up. She runs strong. Have made many trips to Chicago and back among trips to Dallas and Austin. I highly recommend Smart Automotive and will use his service again if necessary. We are 78 miles from his shop. His price was more than fair and better than anyone around us in League City. View on GoogleWe had such a wonderful experience here. Honda dealership really tried to get one over on us and charge us $5,000 for repairs and then turn around and try to purchase our car. Turns out the repairs were not as bad as Honda stated in fact it only cost us $500 for what was really wrong with the car. I will be coming back here anytime I need a repair or tune up and I will be recommending this place to everyone I know. David saved us from spending thousands and being suckered out of our car.

He'll do anything you ask him to do but will be honest if you really need it or not. His shop stays busy so that should tell you how good they are. He's fixed numerous things for me on different cars and has always been reasonable on all costs. I trust him one hundred percent to do quality work at a fair price. Highly recommend.
