I recently visited a Nissan dealership to have my oil changed since I was in that area. I was informed that whoever did my previous oil change, which was Christian Brothers, that the technician there excessively over tightened the plug to the oil pan and stripped the bolt and damaged the oil pan. Now Nissan will need my vehicle for a day or so to do the necessary repairs. I’ve taken my vehicle(s) to Christian Brothers before with no issues. Nissan did advise me that they have seen this issue quite a bit lately and advised that if a repair shop has the ability to vacuum the old oil out, that’s a far better option to prevent damage to both the plug and oil pan. The oil pan is plastic and can be easily damaged if the bolt is over torqued. Not sure I’ll go back to Christian Brothers again.

The cb team was great. First time using them. Robert was professional and knowledgeable from the get go. He Encouraged us to order our part ( save some cash ) we needed for replacement and even told us exactly what clips to order. Repair was done great and in a timely manner. Best news they were able to use existing clips so we we were able to return clips back to Amazon. Cb definitely will be our go to mechanic for future needs. Saved 200 $ overall for repair vs dealer fix.
View on GoogleBrought my vehicle in for an alignment after having the transmission replaced through extended warranty at the magnolia Christian Brothers. It was November of 2025. I've since put 2 steps of tires on the front end and it keeps eating them up. I took it to my mechanic and he found that both control arms were shot. Camber arms are no good as well as the camber bolts. I just don't understand how a mechanic shop could miss this. I was told by one of their counter gentlemen that there was an issue of them having to adjust one side all the way out and that it was good and I shouldn't have anymore issues. No other investigation into why the one side adjusted all the way out. I would not recommend taking your vehicle to them because in my experience they only do the bare minimum.
