Brakes Plus

I would not recommend this Brakes Plus location to anyone. Before taking my car in, my vehicle was running normally. I had recently driven over two hours to Denton to visit family without any issues. After Brakes Plus worked on my vehicle, I started experiencing serious problems, including engine knocking, battery issues, and other defects that were never present before. Not long after, my car broke down and left me stranded on the side of the road in the heat. To make matters worse, I had to pay over $400 for a tow because my car was no longer drivable. What should have been a routine service turned into a stressful and expensive ordeal. The customer service made the situation even worse. In my experience, both the store manager and the regional manager were unwilling to help resolve the issue. I was essentially left to deal with everything on my own and expected to figure out how to get my disabled vehicle to a service center more than 20 miles away. When I asked for help, I was told words to the effect of, “It’s not my fault, and I’m not going to do anything.” That response left me feeling completely abandoned as a customer during a very difficult situation. Overall, this experience was frustrating, costly, and disappointing. Based on what I experienced, I would not trust this location with my vehicle and would recommend others consider taking their car elsewhere.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After reading the outstanding Google reviews for Brakes Plus in Lewisville, Texas, I decided to bring my 2012 Toyota Tundra in for a repair, and they absolutely lived up to the hype. My truck needed a clock spring replaced because the horn wasn’t working. As soon as I walked in, Marck, my service advisor, took great care of me. Within just a few minutes, he provided an accurate estimate and let me know he could have the part in hand in about an hour. True to his word, he personally texted me as soon as the part arrived. I headed back to the shop, and within an hour and a half, the repair was completed and I was back on the road with everything working perfectly. General Manager Chasity and her team clearly run a first-class operation. From start to finish, they treated me like a king. Professional, efficient, and honest, it’s easy to see why this location has such high ratings. I highly recommend Chasity, Marck, and the entire team for any automotive repairs. They’ve earned every one of those five stars!

Great experience at Brakes Plus! Chasity was incredibly helpful, honest, and professional. She explained everything in detail, took me into the shop to show me exactly what needed to be repaired, and provided a fair quote with no pressure. I really appreciated the excellent customer service and would definitely recommend this location.

Brought my Explorer in for a brake inspection and probably some new pads. They got me in relatively quickly as it was a full house. The price wasn’t too bad either!

Absolutely amazing experience considering it was literally an oil change and inspection. 😅 I had my three kiddos with me and the manager Chasity made sure we were comfortable while we waited, even printing off coloring pages for them! Everyone was very professional and friendly and the service was quick and efficient.
