I live in the Lake cities area and I very much love to support my local businesses whenever I can. My only reason for not giving a full five stars is the time that it took (several months) to get repairs done. The challenge had to do with the fact that I have a Jeep Wrangler with a 5.5" lift. The shop had some trouble getting the right sized drive shaft to fit because of that. But the head mechanic is super nice and I understand that my vehicle was more of an edge case to work with. It's really fun to have the Jeep back and I appreciate the work that Anderson's did.

This auto shop is AWESOME! Even though I might be stereotyping, as a woman, I am always concerned if an auto shop might take advantage me because stereotypically women are generally considered not as educated in the world of auto repair. In THIS woman’s opinion, that is NOT the case at Andersen’s! Every person I came into contact with over several visits to get my car inspected was the utmost in professional. I also had the opportunity to hear them interact with other customers in the office and on the phone. Again, each employee treated everyone with respect, explaining with great clarity and detail the issues of their vehicle. In particular, in my situation, Chris explained the causes for my car’s initial failure for state inspection, told me what I needed to do to clear the codes etc, and was very polite and informative every step of the way. I returned for a second visit and still my car’s computer system had not clear the codes. Chris explained why I had to drive my vehicle X number of miles in both city and highway driving and why the law works the way it does. Apparently, there is no magic number of miles. It is just different for every make of car. Chris was personable, professional and polite. So, IF he happens to read this review, in what I hope he will accept as the greatest of all compliments, I felt as if I were talking to one of my beloved older brothers!!! (Even if I am equal to or older than him!) Overall, I got a feeling of complete trust and honesty in all these interactions, my personal experiences and those around me. I know that if I need work done to my car, I WILL NOT hesitate to bring my vehicle to Anderson’s Auto Repair.
