I took our 2017 Ram ProMaster van in for a number of repairs to get it ready for a trip, hopefully. I drove it after repairs for about 200 miles to test it out and everything worked great. I liked the people who work there.

Update: still no call from management about my experience. Not even the owner has responded to my review. I cant begin to tell you how upset and disappointed I was in this place. Let me start with, this was my first time getting an oil change at this establishment. I had a busy day today but I really needed to get an oil change. Since they advertise a 20 mins oil change. This is what I needed. I was impressed with how nice the place is. Its set up for a nice experience with Tvs, wifi, phone chargers, drinks and a kids place. Well, a 20 mins oil change hit 40 mins when they advised me they didn't have the oil for my car. I was already upset it was 40 mins. The guy said it would be another 10 or 15 mins to have it delivered. Since my son was entertained in the kids area i just said ok, but I did remind him i needed them to be done quickly. Well 1.5 hrs later we finally left, i asked for the manager and he was not there. The manager there couldnt help, his explaination was he was service manager. I was like really? I dont know what kind of business they are running but when there is an issue this big, telling a customer the other manager has to fix it should not be the response. They took my info and said the manager would reach out to me, well i guess my business was not important enough to call me today. To be fair the service personnel were very nice and polite but I dont recommend this place. I always use Valvoline but decided to try this place since i was going to the car wash next door. So disappointment. Never again for me. Save your money its not worth the frustration.

This place took care of me when I needed it most. My elderly mother‘s Lexus was overheating right as the Texas summer was beginning so I had her immediately take it to this Sun Auto location near her home. They performed an impressively thorough diagnostic and figured out that it was the thermostat when I was extremely worried it would be the water pump (which is a big job on this particular car). They even took the time to review the car repair history and informed me that the thermostat was replaced 30k miles ago by someone else and likely was a knock-off brand installed incorrectly. They completed the repair by early afternoon the next day and even provided an Uber for my mom to get home and then back to the shop. Sean was extremely friendly and helpful on the phone throughout this whole process which was important because I live out of town. They honored my request to put in the factory part and use the correct Toyota Long Life coolant for a reasonable price overall. The honest truth is that this place is more expensive than a lot of smaller shops, but this particular location seems to be ran by great people and Sun Auto has a reasonably good warranty on their work. They also provided transportation which was priceless in my situation. Smaller shops will often try to upsell you on repairs you don’t need, or even worse if something goes wrong there’s no REAL warranty or anyone to complain to. Sun Auto is a bigger chain where you have greater protection from sleazebag mechanics at a higher price point as a trade off. Just like with most independent mechanics, make sure you fully understand the work being performed on your car and what kind of parts are being installed. Sometimes it’s actually cheaper to get the OEM part instead of the one they want to use. Overall great experience and I really appreciate this place for helping me out in a stressful situation.

The service here at Sun Auto Tire & Service was immaculate. The staff were kind, helpful, and respectful throughout my visit. I came in for a battery change, but they went above and beyond by inspecting my car as well. They communicated their findings clearly and in a very professional, well-mannered tone, which I really appreciated!! 10/10 experience :) truly 5-star service! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great experience at Sun Auto! They did an oil change and a full trip check on my truck and were very thorough. The team clearly explained any issues they noticed and didn’t pressure me at all. I also appreciated the great discounts and how clean and professional the facility was. Honest service, good prices, and excellent customer care. I’ll definitely be back!
