So a lot of places won't work on classic cars. We pulled in, talked to Gary about how the speedometer wasn't working on our Tremec transmission in our 1969 convertible Chevelle He asked questions & pretty much diagnosed it from my husband's answers. He let us drop it off right then & called about 4 hours later & it was ready! We will definitely be back because if you know about old cars - they break down a lot :)
View on GoogleMy wife's 2007 Jeep Commander was hit in the rear quarter panel and it caused the differential and suspension to shift 3 inches to the right. The body damage was repaired and the differential was fine but apparently it wasn't after about 1,000 miles. A strange clicking noise appeared and all repair shops wanted to replace the entire differential with one from a salvage yard for approximately $3,500!! You don't know what you are getting with a 20 year old differential. I have been working on cars since the 60's so there was only one decision to be made and that was to take it to a shop that specializes in differential repair. I am so glad that I picked Differential & Gear because Gary and his talented technicians were able to find and buff a chipped tooth on the pinion gear and clean all of the remaining teeth on both the pinion and ring gears to eliminate the clicking noise. They also discovered that the left hub and bearing assembly was bent in the accident so it was replaced too. Now we have a differential that will last and I highly recommend that you take all of your differential needs to Differential & Gear and you will be totally satisfied with the end result, and their price is more than fair too! My wife is happy and so am I!

View on GoogleI wanted the gears welded on my Mustang, they do not do that service due to insurance/ safety issues. The gentleman on the phone told me he would call me back and try to find a solution. I got a call the next day- it was explained in detail to me how to get this service done. Hell he even told me to call back if I had any questions. This is the shop to go to, they showed a level of customer service and business that you do not see very often. Thank you for your old-school values. if I ever need a service that you guys offer you have my business.
