TO ANYONE GETTING AN OIL CHANGE HERE: I got a routine oil change from this location on 4/21 and thought nothing of it until the afternoon of 4/24 when my car showed a low oil pressure sign on the highway as I was driving out of Houston. The mechanic had broken the gasket between my oil gasket and pan causing all the oil to leak out leaving me with virtually no oil in my car. I had to make an emergency stop and repair at another kwik kar lube in Houston. Luckily they replaced the gasket and topped my oil off before any serious internal damage occurred to my engine. The mechanics at this location are either unexperienced or negligent of doing the proper safety checks after oil changes. I was put in a dangerous situation and received no refund for this awful service. The reasoning for this was because I "didn't call a tow from Houston back to this Galveston location" and "no engine damage occurred". A routine maintenance on my car turned into a dangerous situation that could have caused serious damage to my engine. Save yourself the trouble and get your oil change at any other location than Kwik Kar on Broadway. Coincidentally, the mechanics at the other Kwik Kar Lube in Houston told me I wasn't the first customer to have to stop by their shop after getting an oil change from this specific location, go figure.

But I am so glad I went here and will continue to patronize. Fitzroy provided excellent customer service - and even showed me the type of oil they intended to use before they used it. View on GoogleMy daughter was down in Galveston in my truck and got a flashing check engine light. She diagnosed it with her scanner and found out a coil had failed. After buying a new coil she found Kwik Kar Kare on Broadway to change it out for her. I couldn’t be happier with how they treated her and my truck. They had her in and out in 30 minutes or maybe less. When I called to thank Henry (the tech who changed it out)I got the store manager who was super friendly I greatly appreciate their friendly and fast service. Highly recommend
