I had a really great experience at Kaysers Automotive. From the moment I walked in, they were friendly, honest, and straight to the point. They explained what was going on with my car in a way that actually made sense and didn’t try to upsell me on things I didn’t need. I was also really glad they accept EasyPay because I honestly didn’t have the money upfront for the repair. Being able to finance the job took a lot of stress off me. They work with good credit, bad credit, or even no credit, which helps a lot. Definitely recommend them if you’re looking for a reliable and honest shop.

I've been bringing my cars to Sam and Kayser Automotive for over 8 years. Sam is the most honest and awesome mechanic I have ever experienced! I had tried several shops on the island in the past couple of years but each turned out to be a disappointment. I needed some heavy repairs done to my 1997 Buick Lasabre and was looking to take it all the way to Houston to get the work done. I gave the island one last try and did a google search for shops and found a few but this shop was unique because it had good reviews and it had a first come first serve policy. I was there early, talked to the young woman who did the intake, found her to be pleasant, the owner wasn’t there yet but I talked with him on the phone and told him the issues I was having, he was calm in his replies and asked me to leave the car behind and he would call me with the repair estimate. I was given a ride home which surprised me and sure enough I got the estimate that afternoon. I ended up getting almost 5k in repairs done which was close to my own estimate originally but I added some extra to the repair bill which got me closer to the 5k bill. Very satisfied with the work and recommend this shop to anyone especially if you have a classic like mine.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would . I was recommended by a friend to take my car here . I called to get quotes and make sure they were able to Accommodate my car’s needs providing them with the codes that I had got from a scanner from auto zone. The guy called me back said They were able to tow it from my house to their shop, easy peasy. I didn’t hear back from them for a few days so I called to check in on my car and turns out , they didn’t even start working on my car . When they finally started working on my car , the guy said that I needed a new motor . I was like no way I need a motor the codes were pointing to the camshaft sensor . He then told me that it could just be that and that’s what we went with . Fast forward I get a call saying my car was ready to be picked up . So boom I get to the shop and ask the guy if I can take a look at my car to make sure it would start and that there were no lights on and he told me no , that’s not how it works . That was the first red flag ! So I paid and was given my keys . I get to my car and immediately noticed my front license place was missing , I had scraped on the side of my door , my windshield had a ding in it , and there was a dent on the front of my bumper . Upon me, opening my door and getting in my car cranked but I had lights on that were not on before and my radio also did not work. I went back in to let the guy know, and he just kind of brushed me off and shrugged his shoulders. I have to call non-emergency and file a report and will now be going to small claims court ! They didn’t even offer to fix what what supposed to be fixed by them or what they had additionally messed up ! I hate that this happened to a good hard working mom like me !

DO NOT COME HERE!!! I came because I was having issues with my starter and it was 600$+ to get the work done, which I found out was way over priced, and got my car back for there to be issues with my A/C that was NEVER there. My A/C will turn off and make this knocking sound. Mind you THIS WAS NEVER AN ISSUE BEFORE I BROUGHT MY CAR TO THIS MECHANIC. My A/C wouldn’t even work the first 10 minutes I got my vehicle back and I just thought it was because it had been sitting for a few days, only 3. This is my second day with my car back and it’s started back. I’m highly upset and disappointed.
