Stopped at Buc-ee's and let me tell you something: This is not a gas station. This is an event. I pulled in thinking: 👉 “Let me grab a quick snack.” Next thing I know, I’m inside what can only be described as: 👉 part take-out restaurant 🍗 👉 part souvenir megastore 🛍️ 👉 part “how did I end up here for 45 minutes?” experience This place is HUGE. Not regular big… Not Walmart big… I’m talking: 👉 “Did I just walk into a gas station or a small airport terminal??” big. Food section? 🔥 Legit. Smells like Texas decided to show off. Brisket, jerky, hot food… they’re not playing around. Then you turn the corner… And suddenly it’s Buc-ee’s merchandise EVERYWHERE. - Shirts - Hats - Plushies - Mugs - Probably Buc-ee’s socks for your emotional support feet At one point I saw so much beaver branding I thought: 👉 “Am I shopping… or am I being recruited??” 😭 And the crowd?? Packed. But somehow still organized, clean, and running smoother than it has any right to be. Final verdict: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Will I come back? Absolutely. Because this place isn’t just a stop… it’s a destination disguised as a gas station. Missed it by that much 🤏 (because I came for snacks and almost left with a Buc-ee’s wardrobe and a new personality)

Buc-ee’s — the legendary Texas chain founded in 1982 and often called the “Disneyland of gas stations.” The Ennis location delivers the full Buc-ee’s experience: huge store, great Texas snacks (especially pecans, jerky, BBQ, and sweets), and surprisingly reasonable prices for such a famous road-trip stop. Big bonus for EV drivers — a large Tesla Supercharger cluster right on site. Also nice that Buc-ee’s doesn’t allow trucks, so the place feels open, organized, and easy to navigate. And of course the famous spotless restrooms — honestly closer to an art gallery than a gas station bathroom, with different artwork in the men’s and women’s sections.

View on GoogleOh my gosh, I love it here! Everything is so clean—even the bathrooms are spotless. They have a great variety of food, shirts, and souvenirs, and the brisket is absolutely amazing. The staff is friendly, and the gas prices are some of the best around. Definitely a must-stop spot—I just wish they had more locations!
