Five stars for J Transmission! I brought my car in because the transmission light was on. The mechanic noticed a few other issues and fixed them at no extra charge. I Highly recommend "J Transmission" they took amazing care of my car. It is running flawlessly now, just like new. It is rare to find an auto shop with this much honesty and integrity! He was so honest he even refused a $100 tip I tried to give him. Amazing service.

We got a referral for J's Transmission, spoke with Jessies same day and he started at point A, used his knowledge and experience to not only repair our problem, but gave valuable information to us, even showing us a computerized view of our vehicle and the work done. We are so blessed and happy, my car feels like she did when I first bought her. Jesse and his team are professional, very informative (he kept calls to us and kept us in the loop on everything) he is very friendly and courteous. Wow, what a great blessing we got. This is the place, you will thank me later!!
View on GoogleBy far the best mechanic shop in Dallas. J and his brother are very professional and knowledgeable. They rebuilt my transmission in my 2018 Tahoe back in December 2025 and I haven't had any issues with it since and this truck stays on the road. They also work on motors pretty much a one stop shop. The turn around is fast. They replaced my fuel pump in only one day and that hesitation when I press down on the gas pedal is gone. The pricing is fair and I highly recommend J Transmission to anyone looking for a reliable, honest mechanic.
