I brought my Honda Civic in to get the brakes checked and repaired. I got a good vibe from the woman at the counter who was nice and straightforward. She quoted me a reasonable estimate for installing new brake pads and warned me that it might be more if they found damage to the rotors. We agreed that I'd drop off the car in the morning so it would be ready by the end of the next day. I dropped off the car in the morning and they said they'd replace the brake pads or let me know if more was needed. They called a few hours later and let me know that yes, unfortunately they would need to replace the rotors too. This was bad news but the price they quoted, around $650, was still lower than I had seen people paying online. Near the end of the day I called for an update. They let me know that there had been a slip up and my front fender had been damaged. They had quickly gone to a junkyard and found a fender to replace it. They felt bad about the mistake and I was expecting a discount for the trouble. When I went to pay they said this one was free of charge! So, they fixed my brakes, gave me a new fender and charged me nothing! I really respect their ethics and I will be taking my Honda back to them if I have problems in the future. Thanks Rising Sun!!

We’re a Honda/Nissan family and we will not take our vehicles anywhere else! I made the mistake of taking my Honda Pilot to the dealership because I received a coupon for an oil change. They told me I needed several other services that totaled a little over $1,300 Needles to say I told them no. I told them to just do the oil change. Because they were so pushy and stressing that my car “HAD” to have these services I took the list to Rising Sun. They did everything on the list for a fraction of the cost (except for one thing that they explained wasn’t necessary) they said they would do it if I wasted, but it truly did not need to be done. They stay busy because they are just that good! Again, would not take my vehicles anywhere else. Trust them explicitly. 😊

If I could select no stars I would, I called today to get pricing on my front suspension and other items and the individual who picked up the phone told me that she could not do that and hung up on me. Almost treated like is it was an inconvenience for her. It’s funny how in business we pick and choose what we don’t want to do when we’re providing an added service, if you can’t give a valid respectable quote then maybe you guys should question what you’re doing as a profession. So glad I called I would not want anyone with this type of attitude to work on my car.
