View on GoogleI like Rodney as a person. BUT... I've a problem w returning car & truck back to him for repeat repairs. I paid him hundreds for repairs to the BMW (+ my truck). I always take advantage of free maint checks at dealership. Umprompted, BMW paperwork said car needed EVERYTHING Kar Medic had already fixed! After I paid him $313 for more BMW repairs, 20 mins later, I was stranded on I-20! Note: NEVER, EVER pick a car up from repairs at closing time! Kar Medic was closed. I was stuck on fwy, it was cold & dark, I was scared & had to pay $159 for wrecker to tow it right back to his shop! He reimbursed me, & sent it to another shop for repairs. Took back to BMW today for a separate recall repair. BMW says car STILL has a leak on same repairs Rodney already fixed! I'm so frustrated. I don't want to fight with him, but my car needs $900 in (repeat) repairs. That's just the car... My truck also required repeat repairs. Problem is: Rodney doesn't do the work, he depends on workers who don't do quality jobs. Still on him, though. Will update everyone if Kar Medic makes good on the $900 repair.
View on GoogleA local mechanic shop on Hampton Road wanted to charge me $2,450 for a repair. So I wanted a second opinion and took it to Kar Medic. They could not find anything wrong with it and charged me $45. When I showed them the invoice from the other repair shop they laughed and made a copy of it. LOL LOL. Very busy place but really good honest people.
View on GoogleI used Kar Medic for years up until last year when my vehicle was incorrectly repaired. I trusted the owner because I was pleased with his work over the previous years. However, the first issue was being quoted a final Price for the work that changed once the work was completed without advance notification. The hoses and radiator repairs failed within two weeks with minimal driving of the vehicle. The shop stopped answering my calls and that's when I knew they were aware of the bad service I had received. I am now having to have the exact same repairs done again which is very costly. I entrusted you to provide honest and reliable service but that was not what I received that last fewtimes. I am very disappointed in the way I was ignored and I really hope that no one else receives such poor service and inappropriate repairs that will cost them as much as this has cost me. You all should be ashamed but I'm certain you're not. The main reason we as a people prefer not to do business in our community isbecause business is handled with such bad service and extreme unprofessionalism. Very, very disappointed in Kar Medic, the owner and mechanic team.
