The biggest issue I had with this Valvoline Express Care was the management. I believe his name was Ray? Instead of listening to my concerns and trying to make things right, the manager came across as dismissive and acted like my concerns weren’t important. Customer service starts from the top, and when management doesn’t seem to care, it affects the entire experience. The whole visit felt rushed, and rather than taking the time to explain things or make sure the job was done properly, it seemed like the main focus was just getting cars in and out as quickly as possible. What made the experience even worse was the attitude I received when I tried asking questions about the service. Instead of getting straightforward answers or reassurance, I felt brushed off like I was inconveniencing them for wanting to know what was being done to my own vehicle. When you trust a shop with your car, you expect professionalism, communication, and attention to detail, but I didn’t get any of that here. A good manager would’ve handled the situation differently and at least tried to make the customer feel heard, but that didn’t happen. I’ve been to other lube shops before, and the difference in customer service and overall professionalism is night and day. Other places take the time to explain recommendations, double check their work, and actually make you feel valued as a customer. Here, I left feeling frustrated and disappointed, especially considering how simple an oil change and basic service should be. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t return to this location or recommend it to anyone looking for reliable service and respectful customer care. The technicians were great. They were friendly, professional, and worked efficiently while making sure everything was done correctly. They answered my questions, treated my vehicle with care, and did a solid job. My only issue was with the management—the techs themselves provided excellent service.

The service was fine with the exception of the service person not making sure my truck hood was down and firmly shut. I was driving down the loop afterward and my truck hood was not firmly shut. I pulled over and did it myself. This is dangerous and I hope the service people will be more aware in the future. I will still have my oil changed here and get my inspections but I will be reminding them from now on to be sure the hood is closed properly.

I always go there for my inspections, been going there for about 15 years and I’ve never had a problem.
