I have never seen such sloppy work in my life! I brought my truck to Donny’s body shop and they recommend Mcbrooms for the auto work(because they own both)… and I was told they were a qualified shop. I have a diesel truck and I do all my own work. As a diesel tech putting myself through engineering school, I figured just have my insurance company pay for it, and have it done professionally. This was not the case!!!! They did charge a premium for the work they did, but they just barely got it together under the hood. Donny’s did a great job of making it look good on the outside, but mcbrooms just did not care about the inside. They had fitment issues with my mishimoto radiator, and the instead of calling me or looking up the install procedures, they just made it fit… cracking my fan shroud and damaged my radiator, voiding my lifetime warranty from mishimoto in the process. One of the pictures I will attach sums up their whole work ethic as a shop. That is a picture of my charge are cooler clamps. These claps are spring loaded around a blue boot and they were hitting the hood. Instead of taking a few seconds to loosen and rotate the studs down, they just cut them off. Now because of the spring I can’t ever reinstall the clamps. They also don’t stand behind their work, and I honestly don’t care anymore that they won’t warranty anything, I have seen the work they do getting a premium… I would hate to see what they do for free!!! Do not take you vehicle here!!! The attached photos are how the truck was delivered… absolutely terrible quality for a premium price.

I went here on the recommendation of a friend who's friend told him to go---and I was not disappointed! The jerks at a Ford dealership had 4 years ago not used a torque wrench and thus jammed the oil drain plug so tightly that neither I nor twice at an oil change place could un-jam the plug. McBroom's said that it would be a $700 job if they needed to remove and replace the oil pan if that was the only way that I could get the old oil out of the vehicle...and I said I understood and agreed (Googling the issue jibed with them) since I figured that I'd better be getting that oil changed after 4 years...even if only 16,000 miles. Even that $700 price is $200 below what Google reported as the Houston area average price for that job. They were able to get the already-wrecked plug out, and installed a new one after changing the oil...and also did a chassis lube as I had asked---all for under $100...thank you LORD! They could've went ahead and told me that they needed to at least remove the oil pan...and I would've been happy with that---but being decent folk, they did not. They also had it done in around an hour. 5-STARS and 2 thumbs up.

Have been here a few times. This place works for me because it's literally a few blocks from my job & makes drop off/ pick-up easy. They have done good & fair work. The major repair I got done was pricey but I couldn't beat the convenience of my needs.

I recently tried them. They did an excellent job. They replaced hoses and a water pump. They found a problem my vehicle had had for a while, that other shop did not find. They fixed it. The truck runs great now. They are good people and did a great job for me. My neighbor pointed me to them and they have done a great job for him.

Well, I had a good experience here! My ABS light came on my Chevy 2500HD and a couple others due to a short in a sensor. It was replaced and out the door in two hours! Had I taken my truck to the dealer I would have been out of my truck for a week. The labor and replacement part was more than fair. The mechanic was pleasant.
