Big D Tires

I can’t say enough good things about Big D Tire Shop! Yesterday, I got a flat tire right before they were about to close. I called the shop, and Ellie answered the phone. Even though they were only about 10 minutes from closing, she kindly told me to come on in and that they would wait for me. When I arrived, the team took care of my flat tire quickly and professionally. They could have easily turned me away at the end of a long day, but instead they went above and beyond to help me when I was stranded and stressed. Exceptional customer service like this is hard to find. Thank you, Ellie, and the entire team at Big D Tire Shop for your kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help at the last minute. You truly turned a bad situation into a positive experience. I highly recommend Big D Tire Shop to anyone looking for honest service and people who genuinely care about their customers!

These guys were awesome. I pulled up with a screw in my tired that Discount Tire refused to repair, and they plugged it in 5-10 minutes for $10 with zero attempt to upsell me. I went from being a walk-in with no appointment to back in my car driving down the road in under 15 minutes. I didn't get her name but the service advisor was super nice too. Will absolutely be back.

This place is a joke. Worst tire shop I’ve ever been to. “Owner” over charged me for 1 used tire and I know this because his assistant asked him how much and she mentioned dollar amounts which I’m assuming that’s what they usually charge, but he tacked on more money basically because he knew that I wasn’t going to be able to go anywhere with my flat without buying something from him. Three days later, the tire already has a bubble on it. Stay away from this place and go to your local Latino run shop instead. At least they don’t try to take advantage of you at those tire shops. The reason I went to this place is because I pulled over and my flat was really bad and I was “lucky” (yeah right) that I was close to this place but as soon as I pulled up and saw the workers I knew I was cooked. If you go to this place, it’s only because you’re desperate and you have no other options so just be aware that it’s not going to be worth it and this place has a lot of bad reviews and I agree with every single one of them. Edit: As a rebuttal to your reply – I never said a female tech was working on the car. You told a female employee (I assume 🤷🏼‍♂️) what to charge me and it’s funny that you mentioned that you charge by how big the tire is. I have a small car so it was a small tire. I’d hate to see what you would charge a guy with a lifted truck or a Challenger or Charger, which is basically 95% of Garland. Also, when you “quoted” me what a “new” tire would cost, it was double (or more) what is online for an actual new one. And h3llz no I’m not gonna waste my time going back to your shop.

I was trying to change one of my tire and I asked him to check the tire and one of the Mexican guy. The old guy came and take it off the tire and I saw it on the tire is only one nails. After four and five minute, the guy called me and he say he got four nails on the tire before he take the tires I was checked. It was only one and he put three nails on my tires and he try to scam me to pay him or buy a new tire. And I called to the office and then some lady came and I was explaining to her she wouldn’t listen to me and they have a terrible customer service and they are disrespectful.

The prices are exaggeratingly high. Somehow one plug became two and I was charged an extra twenty-five dollars to open up the security lug nut which most tire shops have the master opener for. Service was fast but a forty five dollars charge for a flat tire is too much. I would look for a different shop if I need a tire plugged if I were you.
